I'm relatively new to the game (been playing a bit more than a week). I've encountered lots of players botting (many [censored] groups) and have reported them to GMs.
To my dismay, even after multiple reportings on multiple occasions, I continue to see the same player botting in the same area on following days.
Does NCSoft not care about botters? A friend (who will remain nameless) tells me there are no botters where he plays (server with-held). L2Extreme is back up and running again and it looks like NCSoft's legal push did absolutely nothing.

eeeegads...maybe we should have a new registration for the forums, have a little questionnaire, and if the result turns out that they'll end up whining about botters and such, don't let em register...hahaha :)
funny how some of the so called regulars on this forum will create new names under which they will talk about the same all crap over n over, if ur so boared, no one is forcing you to write anything in here.
Hi Valdes. ^^ BotKiller beat me to it, but we do have a thread dedicated to bot info and discussion (it helps us to keep track of such discussions better). We do ban bots, and we do it frequently, but it is a bit of a process and something that happens en masse, not just one at a time. (And like most other MMOs, we don't notify someone when a bot they reported gets banned--it just happens.) The process we have in place is a to ensure that we don't ban any legitimate players.
