Lineage 2 Physics

After a little posing and a fake death in overgraded armor while being overweight, I came to this conclusion: In Aden, you fall down more slowly if you're carrying heavy things.

This, of coures, might explain quite a few things about dark elves.

and not enough female sex organs.

micka licka high micka heiny **!
I'd like some of the fries you had for dinner Spud. >.>

ETA: It's true though - if you're not convinced, come to Giran, and I'll fall over just for you.

You know that PeeWee's Playhouse is in the works to make a return, hehe...
..... when overweight you do everything slower movement wise
including fake death
there are some other funny things to do while overweight too :)
ill let you figure those things out urself tho :)
Oh, I knew a few others (like the "I can fly" moment in /socialapplause). I just didn't realise it would affect skill execution time, and thereby Fake Death. The way my dwarfie fell down almost looked like one of those overdramatised shots from an anime.

"OH NO! Heroine DOWN!"
hmmmm.... poison bd might be fun. Now to find something S grade so I am uber slow.

"OH NO! Heroine DOWN!"

LMAO...I love anime! (hence my forum name)
I also like the casting speed penalty for mages wearing heavy armor at early level. during a test in NG heavy and overweight 70% my mage take like 1-minute to cast a nuke. The BEST thing is during mid-casting there will be like 20 sec where my female char will hover in mid air, and after the nuke is cast another 15sec where she defy gravity and slowly landing back to the ground as she apply her air brake:) OH and no peeking... really bored at work:)
While the rest of the games physics might leave something to be desired, the dark elf boob physics are certainly some of the most advanced in the computer industry

LOL..edit a coming...I just think that somewhere in Korea there is a very lonely man who draws for a living…who happens to work for NcSoft. :)

Anyway..if you REALLY want to question the psychics answer me this batman:

Why does an arrow hit for the same damage weather it impacts from 3 feet or from 300 yards? Hmmmm? Why is it impossible to break a archers bow pull even if you hit them square in the kahonies with a 6 foot 20 pound big steel hard thing? Hmmm?

Personally I know I'd drop the bow and say "ouch" if it were to happen to me.

But then this is L2 and it’s a GAME ..so I guess we just must live with such inconsistencies...
Nobody is complaining about inconsistancies (and I think if you want to do that, I would like to point out the lack of /socialstumble for female elves of either variety). That one was a particularly cute one (dwarf is completely and utterly overloaded with like 3k Greater CP potions and ... falls to the ground really slowly?). ;) I was hoping for more of them.

There's also /socialapplause under the same circumstances.
Well, and what about the way a female WC floats off the ground when she gives buffs? (For that matter, although it doesn't have anything to do with physics, why does a female WC always cross their arms very modestly when weapons are disarmed, yet they spread their lags when healing/buffing? Oh wait, I forget, grace and manners aren't a strong point for Orcs.)

Isn't it obvious, you're trying to hit a light elf in the pills. The thing is, no light elf has any.
I like how arrows stick to exactly one point, let's call it pivot for that model. Now funny things happen when you shoot at mob that has pivot somewhere outside of actual model, usually above or below.
Or when you hit mob 3 feet above it's head because mob is crawling on the ground :)

Not going into "how on Aden could you swim in an inch thick metal breastplate?", but drowned corpses do not go to bottom or float on surface anyway.

Players loose health when dropping from high places. Monsters don't - little orc near DE village can fall from tree or high rock 200 times and still has full health. I am able to drain my few K of health to 0 falling (sliding) 3 times due to some terrain glitch or lag.

Mobs also stick to object no matter what their surface is, player's don't. This leads to curiosities like mob can chase you around log or rock because it just "sticks to it", runs over it being in horizontal position while copying exact surface of that object, after passing over it and touching ground it's in "normal" position again. But you get stuck when trying to pass that object.
Ever seen hangman tree being in horizontal position because of one small rock under it's "feet"?
LOL, many times :)

How about players swimming slowly while mobs continue with the same speed under water? :p

Actually, I think DOA takes those accolades...
OMG, someone give me access to an account with a higher lvl dwarf with fake death,

ima go remake a L2 version of the matrix, get my U-HD fraps rolling @ 60fps.

;)

seriously it'd be cool
