NCSoft and Event help

I am sure someone has already posted some similar thread in the past. but I am going to post it anyways. Instead of whining at NCSoft because you don't like their last event, lets tell them what we would like to see in an event. Now be realistic. If you say "I want A grade weapon drops", this thread will never be taken seriously.

Now, I like to collect trinkets to exchange for a prize. I like the concept the more trinkets you have, the better the prize might be as well. Prizes can be fixed or random, but always should reflect quantities of trinkets. I liked those events where it paid to be a group to participate like the Fall Harvest where we all needed to *whack* the squash. Make events accessible for EVERYONE. Not just lowbies and certainly not just high levels.

Types of Prizes I like
* Decorative items: Masks and Hair Accessories
* Cute items: Fireworks, Christmast trees
* Scrolls: We all love those EA and EW scrolls. Either to use or sell. L2Day scrolls are also useful
* Money

Types of Prizes I would like to see
* XP scrolls. Make some increased XP scrolls. Have them. Graded as well, similar to the recovery scrolls. Like an L2 scroll, it would last one hour and would provide double XP. Give it a cool off period of 1 hour afterwards if you want to prevent it from being abused. Naturally, these would not come cheap as a prize.
* Hard to Acquire Recipes.
* Mats that are in demand. Varnish, Thons, Asofe and the likes. Make the quantity and the quality of the mats match again the effort (quantified by quantity of trinkets).

Now, I ask that people don't go bashing past events. Say in plain words what you would like to have as prizes. Don't be greedy or unreasonable.

And with some luck, we will get something we want :)
Boss Jewels especially Zaken since non farmers still cannot do it 4 chonicles later still with crashing problems.

All other jewels also because not everyone can do raid bosses, I did get my AQ ring from the letter event last year I almost died when I did but it should be really rare but possible.

Reciepes I agree with too, the Damacaus rec is worth more then some agrade weapons made are, something is wrong there lol.
I've always liked the events where the groups of mobs spawn and drop loads of mats, l2 day scrolls, and potions. But there are several ways these can be improved:

1. Randomize the locations of the spawns so they can't be camped. Make more spawns (at least 10x more than what it is now), but with less mobs per group.

2. Penalize the drops if a high level kills low level event mobs. High levels camping TI for these spawns is ridiculous.

3. Heroes killing level 20 event raid bosses should not be possible.
All good points Meate. Give them event raid bosses the dreaded *raid curse*
I would like an real EVENT, not a extra grind over a grind for quest items..... I don't classify those events.

Real events doesn't mean it's related to quests drops or drops or rewards in general, #1 point is being fun, and so far almost NONE of the vents have been fun as it's just aka more drops over the grind... thats it.

The only real event so far who's ben in l2 was locked up for just the 76+ players as the server PVP wars but thats it so far...

Semi fun events have bean the random raid boss spawns but they can defectively be done better and more interactive to, like really NEED to defend towns rater then just have them sit outside the town waiting to die.
Ya the July 4th invasion (it was acutally similar to the Halloween one which by the way was INTENSE with the system messages saying something is gonna happen to Aden except for the fact it was REALLY weak so not everyone could even join in the fun) was amazing! The storyline was actually quite interesting for it too, I hope they do something similar to the invasions again but actually have the invasions take over and have penalities for not defending or something but nice rewards that are meaningful to the hardcoreness of Lineage 2.
The 7 spirits event last year was unique too where the spawn points change from day to day and you had to listen to the messages going off to know where to look for the mobs, kind of like riddles I thought it was clever and fun. The prizes though werent so good :(
