Lineage in real life may become a disease for some people. Certain symptoms of this disease are:
* They make strange sounds like:"LOL!", "ROFL", "OMGK", "PK PK!", "TZJ TZJ" ktl, specifically if him they make except game.
* They say various inconsistencies except game like:"lets exp", "You come Giran", "WoW, Dagger with karma!", "W8'" ktl.
* They come out in the street and they shout "ANTENA PLIZZZZZ", "LAAAAAAAAG".
* Ask S grade arms from kiosks, and buffs tangibly from doner shops (gyros = round).
* They keep a knife and a piece paper and swear because "it does not become enchant because of lag".
* In extreme cases they see some passerby and after shout "PKPK" they begin him they strike. If they finally get beaten from the passerby, they shout "REEEZZZ PLIIZZZZZZZZZZ".
* They go to take tickets for urban buses from the kiosks and they call them enchant scrolls. Also they call the driver "Gatekeeper", and they say to them to make teleport (it becomes also with taxi drivers) in various parts with strange names. When it has traffic jam they begin to make spasmodic movements with their hand you say and they try they handle the mouse so that get unstauck.
* A lot of times when they see a other like them shout "noob'"
* They kill dogs in order to "xp"
* Always when they see individuals be delivered in riots "We go just in case we get a drop” (it does not have importance if they are found in the game no!)
* They go to the kiosk they say: "trade plz"
* They seat in the middle of street and they wait for, as they say, them to regain MP (MANA), while they write SMS in mobile beginning with ". In certain extreme cases in deed they use blue Powerade as Mana Potion.
* They find in the street 10€ instead of 100€ they began complaining for drop rate
* They wear dressing gowns when they come out outside in order not to lose Casting Speed
* They believe that the walking stick of their grandfather has above 500 Magic Attack and they try to find their grandfather account in order to steal it.
Quit ASAP if you encounter these problems. Return after you are sure you are cured
Just out of curiousity, what is your native language?

that made no sense what so ever, I think it made my eyes bleed.
Having played online games for the last 6 years, some things do stick.
Short for space on company notes I've found myself wanting to use plz. However, the main one that is high up there for use is LOL. A group of us used to talk about "another game" in the pub, people thought we were mad. In those conversations we all remarked on how we nearly were saying things like LOL and ROFL.
LOL is common word now, I hear it all the time between young people. They don't need to play games, just using webchats and some IM is enough.

With our corporate IM and mails, using "plz" "pls" "thx" "ty" "BTW" "AFK" "IMO" "BRB" "LOL" "OMG" "u2" and even "ROFL" is pretty common, and those people that use such acronyms are definitely not generation that grew up on internet, many of them are serious ladies and gentlemen in their middle to higher age. It's just short and practical and everybody understands.

That's the transliteration of laughing from greek.
I say LAWL all the time IRL... Just the other day some guy was like hey you cut me in line (which i did not). So, I said LAWL at you sir... he just stood there very confused. After i was done payin for my stuffz he ran up to me outside and said what the hell did you call me? I just got in my car and as i was drivein by him i yeild out PWND N00B!! as i drove off into the sunset.

TRUTH!
I thought is was a funny post, similar to the post called "You know you've played too much L2 when ...", or something like that.
Native language is greek but this a a very free translation from greek to english so pardon me any grammatical/comprehension errors.

I like :)

Also, I grew up on the old MSN chat (not the Comic one, but using their servers via mIRC) which is where I picked all of these acronyms up from. This must have been back in 1998 sometime. I have to say though, at work and while out and about, I never use any of them. People PM/email me at work with them all of the time, but I'm **** when it comes to typing; I'd only ever use LOL and maybe the odd smiley (I'm 24).
