Hi, since about 2 weeks i am getting massive lags on Teon and Franz. From about 7am gmt+1 to 12am gmt+1 i can play on both server without any problems. After 12am i get massive lags with 5-10 secons frozen screens. I only get those problems on Teon and Franz all other servers are working fine. Anything i can do ?
This is something our technicians have been trying to address since last weekend (to my knowledge). They've requested that anyone who has this problem run the NCsoft Network Information Tool, and copy & paste the info from that into a support ticket.

Maybe it would be a good time to ask for more details.
ARE they working on it? HOW LONG will it take until they find a solution?
Look at l2blah or just in your own tech forum, TEON community gets really angry, and for good reason after 2 weeks with NOTHING done!
I know about the "Frankfurth traffic jam" possibly an effect of the T-Com employee walkout.
But regardless it should be done something.
I can not play since days on Franz because of this issue and I heard no word about any action from NCSoft to solve the problem.
I remember in old times at DAoC Europe, where there was a similar probleme once about a router in Zürich to Paris.
Here the Devs explained what happend and solved the problem with the net provider who was responsible for the massive lag at that time.
So I know there could be done something except to sit it out and hope for better times.
Had really bad lag today on Kain, just one client open this time too :/ 1-5 second delay doing anything, getting really frustrating.
However if it's a router problem between me and ncsoft, it's all well and good to shriek at ncsoft but the fault ultimately lies with whoevers equipment is going crappy. Sometimes stuff is just out of everyone's control. :/
Over a month ago i was almost alone addressing this issue,but now i got an army of players..Anyway don't expect this to be resolved anytime soon people,if they ever get it resolved..Either by switching their ISP,or have their ISP fix the cause..Until the live whit it or put your accounts on hold...
Man Erica is HORRIBLE today. Seriously every few seconds the whole game pauses for like another few seconds and then comes back.. This is seriously getting very unbearable for me.
Well accoding to the CM in the german COH (city of heros) forum another NCsoft game,the lags seems to be caused by a Peering problem from the datacenter that is hosting the NCSoft servers in Frankfurt.
So not only L2 is affected by this.And since euro people on US servers and elsewhere,also gets directed through that center.They also suffer from this problem..
That's what I got yesterday during a siege, and during normal PVEing after about an hour of play I was like forget this, it's hard to hunt in a stunner area with 3 second delays all the time.
Teon and Frantz are having issues at a Frankfurt router, its not NCSofts fault.
If that router belongs to one of NCsoft's transits, it is their fault for not taking action to either a) move traffic away from them b) kick their *** to fix it. Theres no way in hell Level3 or Tiscali would let a fault on their network exist for weeks at a time on purpose - either NCsoft just aren't telling us their providers have problems or they just don't know. I'm aiming for the latter.
yes you rigth ... the problem is not only with Lineage 2 even with Guild Wars lag is horrible from a few days ago I play on kain and i cant even play from more than 5 min cuz i got frustraded
So i guess the problem is witl all ncsoft games cuz already with l2, coh and gw dont know the other games..
I hope this can be fix it Soon (Sorry for my english)
