I have just bought the game today and have been reserching a lot but i still have yet found out what i want to make. I kind of want a buffer to help the party but do good damage and help in battles with damage and buffs. Any ideas plz post ty. (rember its my first guy)

My advice is to make a mix of characters...your going to be short on cash for quite sometime so may as well reuse your gear and try out various playstyles to begin with. By then you should know which character is 'best for you' and you won't have had to grind up to a high level before you realize that you hate a certain playstyle. (it's easier to find out what you don't like, versus what you do at a lower level oddly enough.)
you get party buffs that are helpful for damage dealing/nuking, and you yourself do a decent amount of damage also.
if you go SWS (swordsinger) you also get party buffs, they are more defensive based tho. you also get to deal damage as a SWS also.
haha i am on Bartz, and 4x, 5x, 6x, etc... stands for a persons level
4x would mean that they are in their 40's
instead of changing their sig every time they level, they only have to change it every 10 levels.
as for PVP vids, the best BD's ones i have seen are made by n0a, who is a member on bartz, and makes nice videos.
not sure about other videos from other servers, they dont really interest me if i dont know who the people are anyway.
lol well the biggest and strongest clan/ally on the server just quit a week or so ago ....not that that changes the fact that their is one major clan.
but, i like bartz, enough friendly people to hang out with, and enough unfriendly people to kill :)
as for lag, i personally almost never get lag ...a lot of people complain about it but i never have problems.
high level players ...yeah its true, but i mean people have been playing on Bartz for a long time, so it only makes sense that they are going to be high levels. personally never had problems leveling, finding parties, or anything like that.

BD's are not rare but imo they are fun as all hell to play.
just personal mail me through the fourm's tho, i think there is an option at the bottom of each post.
I'm not sure why no one has suggested Warcryer... but they are a good choice. Great buffs, and does decent damage too. and at higher levels, very desired in groups.
BD's are a better choice then warcryers simply because they will get parties easier, most parties want a prophet or SE over warcryer but both mage parties and melle parties make use of a blade dancer.
Also BD's solo a lot better then a Warcryer.
Oh and they are kind of hot imo. Don't make a female character though, the male bladedancer animation is the hottest animation in game.
