could you please insert a "reason button" next to the serverstatus were we can see why the [censored] server is down? i.e. Server #9 Teon down right now and no info for an on coming player how long it will stay down and why ... comon make this site a little usefull, atm I just visit this site for the board and it's close to useless as well.
Can anyone say "scheduled maintenance"? Come on are you really that hard up to logon? You have to get a grip on yourself. Sometimes things break and other times they are doing preventive maintenance. I know it is a cruel world out there, but I think you can handle a few hours outside Lineage 2.
I wish they could update the "in development" status more often than once every 2 weeks or so...it still has the status from last weeks maintenance and that message was added 15min before the servers went up 1 hour after they normally should have stating that the maintenance has been extended by 1 hour...no [censored] sherlock...

Server was taken down with announcement -> Server #xyz down reason "copy and paste the ingame announcement in here with the time they said"

Dont really get what you whant it to say.. if you cant logg on you know it crashed, why point it out?
If its a crash they need to check what whent wrong and they dont know how long it will take, would you rather itsaid " it will be up in 10min" and then it dosent come up in another hour?
If the servers are broken and need to stay offline for a longer while Alyra will make a post in the server forum.
I don't get it what you are talking about, you never had a server at 5 o'clock in the morning going down after "Announcement: Server is going down for 1 hour blah blah blah" exactly for that I want a reason in that crapy serverstatus window. somethimes the server crash, ok no big deal 5 mins later he is back but sometimes it isn't a crash and it isn't tuesday maintance and they had an ingame announcement about it, good for the ppl that where on bad for the ppl that came just on at this moment and don't know when the server comes up again. ingame they said 1 hour and 1 hour later it's up just a little crapy info on the mainpage for the ppl that just came on, would that be so hard?!
a good server don't need a guy sitting next to a logon screen checking all server up, that is the job of a [censored] server program that automaticly restarts crashed programs, if they would need to start all manualy their admin would be a [censored] joke!

I'm locking this due to unconstructive posts, but I'll explain how server maintenance and notification works first. If I know a server will be down, I'll post about it. If a server crashes, then comes right back up, there's really no point in posting something about it--people just log back in and go about their business. If a server has to be brought down for emergency maintenance, I'm notified, and will post something about it as well.
In the event that we have regular server maintenance, and nothing notable changes, there won't be any patch notes. As for the "In Development" section, that really ought to be called "Server Maintenance." I'll have it changed.
