I'am lev 53 now and every time i try to Enchat anything more them +4 it breaks...then other get to 6 and 8 or more with no problem.I try 4 Homu an they all broke..I try 3 d grade sword and they broke..an today I try 2 more Homu an they broke. I never get anything pass +4. at the same time some guy got a Homu to +16 with no problem...he was just running around Giran..when from +11 to +16 with no problem.
I just feel like give up...noting work for. I have no luck in l2
I'm 0/10 on my last enchant attempts. It's easier and much more entertaining for me to just play the market and buy others' luck. Sorry to hear about your bad luck.
Dont worry about it. You're not the only one with bad oe luck. There are many theories on why some can make a living on oe while others can't seem to go beyond +4. Below is my oe history :)
dual set 1: attempting to +4 failed (d duals)
dual set 2: attempting to +4 success (d duals)
dual set 2: attempting to +5 failed (d duals)
dual set 3: attempting to +4 success (d duals)
dual set 4: attempting to +4 fail (c duals)
dual set 5: attempting to +4 success (c duals)
dual set 6: attempting to +4 fail (b duals)
dual set 7: attempting to +4 fail (The latest attemp was a grade tall*dama duals X.X)
Join the club! My SR is an extemely unlucky guy with over-enchanting. +4 is his highest over-enchanting -- "over" calls for some ridicule at this point though. lol
There's nothing wrong. That's just the way luck goes.
I have been playing the state lottery since I was 18, buying at least one ticket every month for about a decade. I've never managed more than 3 matching numbers on any ticket.
A year ago, a former neighbor of mine played the lottery for the very first time. She purchased 2 rows of picks....and won $25M. Like I said, "former neighbor." She has since moved to a more upscale neighborhood, steps away from the Pacific.
Fortune doesn't play favorites; it only feels that way.
Yeah, that's what I mean when I tell others to pace themselves. That weapon, if it's gonna break, will do so whether you enchant 25 straight or once every blue moon. But at least if you enchant once in a blue moon, you'll have that weapon longer. :) :) :) :) :)
I thought I was an OE God at one time, and then I broke 2 SOL's in a row attempting +4. I was trying to help equip a newb player with decent gear, but it wasn't going so well at first. lol. Oh, the humility! Luckily I got the 3rd one to +10 and I was redeemed. (Mental note: check to see if that noob is still playing the game.)
NEVER EVER enchant straight away to +4.... it's just bad... Enchant to +3... leave it a good week... if your to impatient it's always seem to break.
Nearly 2 years ago i started attempting a different means of enchanting after breaking 6 pairs of dual keshes trying for +4... (in a row)
Enchanting roughly ONCE a month on a single weapon. Possibly, POSSIBLY 2 times... but rarely..
Got a Pair of +15 D duals, a +13 Orchish Glaive, +17 SLS, +12 D Glaive, +9 SoM, +12 SoV...
I really wish B grade could be evenly exchanged....
A +9 SoM!! Just wow! Highest I've ever seen is +7. How many did you blow before getting to +9? Mine's +3 and that's where it's staying. ;)
blew 2... going to probably enchant it again in the next few weeks to.... course it's not currently on my account as i have a friend in which we jointly purchased some weapons, and share the enchanting, she however doesn't want to go for +10 :p
I got my Soul Sep at +10 yesterday. You need patience and lot of luck to pull OE. This is my first soul sep so I think I am **** lucky but I OE it in very scarce moments (usually drunk :P). I admit I am usually very lucky with OEs but I had my bad moments (success OE +10 demons all the way +0-->+10, Failed Kris +5--->+6,success at SoL +12, failed SLS +8-->+9 twice on one attempt and success on Glaive +8 on one attempt) The only thing that really gets to my nerves are the homuluncus and the dark screamers. They seem SOOOOO fragile :(
