We all know how fast we can get annoyed by seeing a complete field of silver or mithril arrows after some xp hunting. Valley of Saints, Forest of the Death are just to name a few of the hunting spots that are often swamped by arrows.
My suggestion would be to make those items crushable, after all archers do get the skill to summon arrows out of crystals, why not make it possible in reverse as well?
As SG arrows don't exist in drop, it would not affect the market value of SG crystals in any way, but it would help to catch some extra BG and AG crystals on the market.
I was thinking about 1000 arrows = 1 crystal, that way it is helpful, yet not completely exploitable. Crafting arrows takes a lot of MP from a crafter which they can use better for other crafts, so I don't really see them using it to "craft" crystals much.
Interesting, we collect these for the clan's archers and then give them out every so often.
Crushing works too, but you could almost just sell them back to the shop or open your own shop in town on a Sat. night.

Seems most people find this an interesting idea, but i do agree with KnightofDarkness and Blankstares that it needs some tweaking. :) 1k to 1 may be a bit too much considering you can summon more then that out of 1 crystal. 3k to 1, why not. Nobody in their right minds would make DG or CG crystals this way by buying arrows.

I just preffer to leave them on the ground. If it causes a bit of server lag, so be it. I'm not affected by it, but maybe some of my enemy gank parties may be ;)
