I'd just like to say .....

thanks Alyra.

When I heard we were losing Mistryl I thought great, the only person who pays any vague attention to us is going. I was disappointed to say the least as at the time there were lots of posts being put up that were negative, showed a growing lack of faith in the game and in some cases had a lot of resentment towards NC. The majority of the posts were completely justified as there was a total lack of any sense of service to ourselves when the majority of players are only fighting to keep a game that they love playing.

Eventually the announcement came that we were having a new CM. All waited with baited breathe to see what you were like. And I personally am pleasently surprised by you.

From my own point of view I see honest answers to all kinds of questions from the automated friends problem to how do we get a suggestion implemented. You are friendly and at the same time capable of warning people of overstepping the mark without aggrivating a situation. It is also nice to see posts popping up that tell us what is being done about various issues rather than no comments at all. I feel this goes a long way to helping the Lineage community feel that at least someone is helping in fighting our corner for us.

So again thank you and long may you be our CM :D
Yeah, Alyra is awesome :) She's done very well as the Lineage II Community Manager.
Yes, Alyra thank you very much! :D
Alyra is the only one I've seen on the posts this so far... I guess she's the only one that actually takes notice of the issues and concrens people have so...

Good Job Alyra! :D
spam > all

even if he does like orcs.
She gets my vote.
Alyra's attitude has made a big difference over these wretched boards. I do hope she stay like that in a year from now.

Go, Alyra! Go! :D :D
Yea if you stay here you'll get filthy stinking rich, Alyra.
Mistryl nearly destroyed what little L2 community we had left
Alyra is awesome

how so?
I totally agree that Alyra rocks, but why the hatin' on Mistryl all of a sudden?
I don't think it's fair to say Mistryl did that. She was a lot more reserved in her dealings with us which is what I think caused problems but she did her best for us in her own way :)
Thank you, all. :)

And yes, every Community Manager interacts with their community a little differently. Since there are no set guidelines, it's really up to us to decide how to run things. Mistryl did a whole lot behind the scenes, not to mention the info she left behind for me has been crucial in allowing me to pick up the reigns here. If I meet her in person one day, I'll definitely have to tell her thank you. :)

What are you talking about? Mistryl was amazing! I thought she too answered many of the questions and it actually felt like she played the game as well rather than some that seem to have no clue on Lineage 2 but just act like they do by talking about the usual things in MMOs.. not going to mention any names though :D
'tis not fair to comare them in this context. We, sitting on the outside, know nothing of the politics of the inner office.
So far, Ash, Mistryl, and all of the previous and our own current one, do a marvioulous job.
I, for one, would have a ban hammer out way too often for the repetiviteness of the snipeing that goes on in here. There are some things that are just broken, we all know about them, but to keep forcing the CM to deal with them is just a waste of everyone's time.

Koodos to anyone that can manage US and still not get snippy!!!!

Well-said, Madders.

Admittedly, Alyra is my cup of tea, but we should not talk about Mistryl or judge her actions, for two simple reasons:
Firstly, she is not here to discuss and/or defend herself -- and this is unethical from our part, and secondly, we bring Alyra in a very difficult position.

So... what we were saying? Ah, yes. This thread is about Alyra. :D
