little bit role playing. With massive attack of the anonymous, unfriendly players to the world of Bartz i've tried to make a quest:
"FIND LIVE PLAYER OR GROUP IN POPULAR AREAS". Today for your attention following zones:
Varka silenos outpost.
Quest fullfilled. there was a archer hero who was xping with some support chars.
Disciple Necropolis
Quest fullfilled. There was a lone Gladiator who did i found when almost feel that quest was failed.
Dark Omen Catacombs
Quest failed. No single live player found. But I did found 1 empty room :)
You can look on my adventures by downloading following rar file with 3 replays of my adventures.
Part 2 will be soon... including Catacomb of the forbidden path, Saints necropolis, Catacombs of the witches....
PS. I hope that posting replay without names is not against rules of these forums. If GM staff want to find names of chars they can just check following location on Bartz server and see it by themself.
You should see Heretics. I have met more live players there in the last week than in a long time. All nice clans and very civil.
Every once in a while, the game really comes back to being around other, live players.
We have been encouraging our newer players to keep at it. They are a bit put off, having come from other servers and not seeing quite as many people. We just remind them that they were not inthe new areas on their old servers and it is very populated in the higher areas...
just made it to 20 on an alt. saw about 10 ppl on TI and 4-5 live ppl north of gludio. only saw 2 automatic ones. one at TI, one fishing north of gludio. Heretics is full with live players.
Honestly i care less for any places below lvl 60. But my point was that YOU can't level in cata/necro, you can't do quest for S armor, because it's all full of bots. And because of that massive amount of them it's not even possible to report them :) Look at replay. There 10+ groups in silenoses. You can't report them. I did report most of them not 1 time, but they still there. In every single high level cata/necro there are also 10+ groups of bots. How we can report them?
Even if I report every bot in high level zone on Bartz (that could take me a week or month) I'm not feeling that it helps, because as I said most of the bots on silenoses already reported by me multiple times, but they still there. So, can our CM/HGM look at silenos replay and say, that it's legit players?

I don't care about zones below 60, because I believe that in the current state of the game (remember that this game is already 3+ years on market) 90% of the population of the legit players are 60+ level. Lvl 60+/70+/80+ zones, high level quests is that what we have most problem with, because it all infested with bots. And yes, me/my wife paying together for 4 accounts, and yes, she is 78 SE subbed to currently 77 WC. And we have plenty of support chars in clan, that have same problem as we're.
We're not xping in 20+/30+ locations, sorry. There are much more places to xp till lvl 60 then after. Personally I'd like to see that ALL bots will be removed from game independently of level, but I'd like that NCSoft concentrate on high level zones/bots because that's what most (as i can see in game) players wants. Because it's exactly what players can see, when high level bots disappears (means banned).
I can make in-game recording of Gludio town or DE village of the bots running over and over to guards. But honestly, most profit bots groups getting in high level zones, means it will hurt much more if high level bots banned, then lvl20 bot banned.
Nice i like this, since replays are small files i should make some showing the hordes of bots and then post them too, would be funny to see a GM reply on the boards, might be embarrassing for them though and they would just lock the thread instead.

It doesn't help to report them. GM does not do anything. That beyond a reasonable doubt line they give you is bs. Been reporting/killing/training/fearing the same group all month in silenos. No bots at the entrance. But if you want to hunt something besides soldiers they are everywhere else. Good luck getting captain/general badges if you want to get alliance 5 for the s armor quest... luckily I got that all done before bots were able to infest the area (THANKS INTERLUDE)

Got a problem with people playing supports? Buffpets are not the same as buff bots. It isn't hard to click an ingame macro on another computer to dance or sing every 2 minutes, and then minimize another client 20 minutes later for buffs. When you get past what ever low level you are, you will realize that the exp curve in this game does not support live buffers outside a very few specific areas. I'd like to get level 79 some time this year, so forgive me for not partying a bunch of buffers so we can all get 5k exp from a 2x hp monster. If ncsoft had bothered to make a viable 1x hp hunting ground for level 78's, then it would be a different story.
A live person playing multiple accounts on multiple computers is in no way shape or form comparable to some farmer running 18 instances of a bot program, hunting multiple areas at once.
