It's broken.
well that was to the point lol, Alyra said that they were testing something and the edit and quote options were messed up so they'll fix it on monday
I troll forums as I play... so I usually don't have the time to flesh posts out. Typos/ incoherent rants aside... I sometimes leave ENTIRE WORDS OR PHRASES OUT due to rushing and not being able to secretly edit my posts is making me very insecure.
Stay out of the forums until monday :p
leave something broken over the weekend and fix it on monday, typical ncsoft.
What exactly was so unfriendly about the edit button in the first place!?

It won't let you edit your post after a certain (very short) amount of time has past (haven't tested it, the time may be like 0 sec).
Right now it's 0 seconds, a while ago it was less than a day. Alyra requested that posts should be editable longer, and the person who set it up (and is now away from the office for the weekend) made a mistake and set it to 0.

There are boards where edit or log in time = 0 means infinite, this is apparently not one of them. :p
This is probably my fault as i had requested that i could be allowed to edit my orginal posts (starter) for some of the threads i've made (such as the vista thread) in an attempt to make additions or modifications to the issues, and how to resolve (or possible solutions)..

From there, is exactly when the edit feature messed up, from what i gathered after asking alyra about it, she mentioned that she would see what options could be provided to better suit the situation, of course avoiding the tiduias work of pming her the modifications and then her editing (that would be a horrible way of doing things, quite inefficient). Well i guess the fix would be to increase the length of time or made it so that you can edit a post at any given time, and in doing so, the edit time length ended up @ 0 which usually some programs consider "infinite" in the terms of never haveing a time limit, but this software apparently considers it an actual value meaning, The moment you post, you can't edit... lol.

My bad ;) I started the chain reaction.
<sets PvrJudas on fire>

There, apology accepted.

It's a forum nerf.
