It look really great, I think, judging from what I've read on the L2 SEA forums the way they are running things is quite different from the NA/EURO servers.
There is also an online petition to let players from the Oceania region play on the SEA servers.

This would be great for us players in the region be cause playing on NA/EURO servers is absolutly useless because of the bad ping rates (200 - 500 on a good day) and the times of seiges and things (most of us are at work or school).
Yeah, it's almost impossible to find L2 in stores here in New Zealand.
"14 million subscribers" 4 million actual people, 10 million bots and multi-boxes. ;)
No, the problem was that the 14 million was total subscribers EVER, not the current subscriber base, it was a little white lie NCSoft NA a good while back.
Sadly as I predicted back then, everyone, even the media, is taking it as 14 million current subscribers.
The problem could really be that it can come back and bite them in the butt one day when someone exposes the real numbers

I'm sure the NCSoft bean counters and Execs know the truth. The information provided to the media is simply "managed spin" intended to gain interest and acclaim amongst the unitiated. Rarely does anyone correct this sort of thing, if it paints your company/business in a good light.
They pay quite an amount for servers, server code, bandwidth and stuff, they helluva try to promote it. *cough* Can't NC NA transform rather to branch of that media company than stay as just some "NC NA"?
Oh, you're right! Was listening it over tinny laptop speakers and the deafening roar of about 40,000 servers. I guess compared to Southeast Asia, our rates are monstrous. :)
SOE comes second, after EA's crap with E&B, UO and DAOC, I woudn't touch Warhammer with a 10 feet poker.
I've read that EA has acknowledged that they have a bad history with MMOs and have stated that they are leaving all the MMO business to Mythic (EA/Mythic?). But who knows. I'm not interested in WAR either way.
Mythic isn't exactly doing a good job either, but we'll have to see with the UO Kingdom Reborn mess.
As opposed to.... NCSoft?
Mythic's developers have had track records that exceed what most think. From Darkness Falls (god I loved that game..) to Spellbinder (A very unique game).
Honestly I think the majority of us are done playing these Korean MMO's who absolutely dont care one bit about the NA/EU Market and do their best just to leach as much money as they can from us.
