Since I play L2 I am playing on Franz and have a good time there, but... I never ever have seen a GM on Franz as long as I play. The only GM's I have ever seen were on PTS. Since GM should keep the server clean and help players with problems why isn't there any on Franz?
First problem why we need GM's on Franz, is bots, yeah blabla if you make a petition you always get a reply with 'please state the names of players' sometimes if you see a 3 person bot (afk exp) train it's possible but in rare cases like this ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hL1h4yGBpbQ ) it's impossible.
I was running around in Orc Village with my low-level future OL and suddenly I started to lag, not just a normal lag, lag spikes of 10-15 seconds, why? A fast amounte of bots were KILLING guards while trying to delevel.
Second, everybody (not only on Franz) know the zillion shops in Giran, too bad 'rules' stated in the loading screen aren't even followed by GM's on Franz, everybody is blocking hallways, gates, shop entrances with buy/sell/craft shops, and no GM around to move the people so everybody can pass true without using the alternative route to Taurin.
So, are the GM's of Franz picking there nose and not helping out people to have a fun time while playing? Or is NCSoft to lazy too hire/add active GM's to there most populare server?
This is the one thing I have never had trouble getting a fast response to.

The thing is: Chances are you can still move through these stores, so they're not really blocking - but they will move them if you petition (they get moved to the very outer edge of the selling crowd from what I could see so far). If people just petitioned these people whenever they came to a crowded stairway/blocked passage, I'm sure people would stop sitting down there sooner or later.
GM's are there, one is already a bit more cooperative then the other, but the times Sieghardt Giran was as crowded as in your pictures is long gone, and I never seen anyone get relocated, were always the same people there.
As the problem has decreased a lot, I don't see a reason anymore to talk about it on my server.
They don't get relocated unless they get petitioned AFAIK. :p But that's not too much work really. :) Unlike bot trains, stores usually sit still long enough to target and read their random names.
I never have seen a character being moved from a location other then buy it's *hopefully* real player. GM's can't let a char stand up and move 3 steps and then let them sit down to set up the same store again.
If everybody starts making petitions for every player nobody gets time to play, to much people to less time.

Oh, they (the GM) do. I myself have petitioned about blocked Giran stairs a few times and SEEN the shops being placed somewhere else so that the stairs were completely free. Of course they do not walk the toons and set up the stores again, they just teleport the whole thing somewhere else.
I once setup a shop in Giran and went out for the evening. When i came back my shop was at the apostate catacomb, along with alot of other shops. After speaking to a GM it turned out that i had set my shop up "too close" to a wall within Giran and they had moved me.
Also the no GM's, i think you will find that the /gmlist (or whatever it is) always says that there are no gm's online.
True, using the /gmlist command will always show that message. But I never have seen a shop being moved by a GM after I made a petition about it. I just get the same reply back all the time that they will take a look at it and will take actions when neccessary but it won't take hours to move one single player. Besides that, an active GM knows Giran has problem and can move players without needing a petition first, if he/she waits for it to happen (the petition) she is lazy and not worth being a GM.
The /gmlist has been broken since C3, actually not broken, just unsupported when they updated the systems and gm systems...
HGMSpam had mentioned this quite awhile back.
Basically they updated thier GM software systems, which didn't connect to the servers at all anymore so the GMLIST was then made useless and incorrect, They haven't updated the gm list to work with the new GM software.. there fore it never gets updated. This is also why you never see GMs around either.
gm =spam= was on bartz yesterday. He spent a lot of time goofing off and ignoring any serious questions, or answering them with intentionally vague responses. At least I can finally say I have seen a gm!
I know i've died serveral times punching in commands to either counter or summon... or regenerate ones own health... or screwed up and died anyways (in relation to the unreal engine commands)
I'm not sure if NCsoft kept in "god mode" or if it's the ultimate mode if it just makes taking damage seem to haven o effect...

So my "intentionally vague responses" were me trying to be polite while I worked. I was actually standing in the MRT most of the day. (All day, today also.)
First off, this topic isn't about posting funny bot movies on Youtube. I recorded this to back up stupid questions by the petition system to always add char names of bots. The petition text field isnt even long enough to add all those bots in my video at once, and as you can see you can't even read all the bot names.
A real GM could have ported himself straight to my location (I know they can) and see the killing of guards themself.
On Interlude PTS I asked Mistryl (am I typing this correctly) and Omega if there was any GM on Franz but they didn't wanted to answer that question or responsed with something like "dunno I am not a GM there and I dont know my fellow GM's".
And every time I make a petition that can be solved by a GM just checking the location if everything is fine, nothing happens imho, as I said GM's can port straight to a player. I even stopped making petition like I used to do in my first days on Franz *Oh help I am stuck between to rocks and I can't move! Pff, I don't even want to waste time on that anymore. I just hit /unstuck and go drink something*
Yeah I know Franz is flooded by bots and GM's would have a 24/7 task if they gonna check every bot which is reported with the petition system, but hey it wouldn't mind if you show your face once. Or at least move private shops in Giran if a petition is made.
Would be nice if the GM's of Franz would check this topic and reply.

How is that not that intentionally vague or misleading? Again I must repeat myself on the glaringly obvious fact that it takes months, even for bots, to reach 78/noblesse and there is no excuse for a bot to get that high in level if you are indeed banning thousands everyday.
When asked what kind of tests you do to find bots you said you couldn't tell us for obvious reasons. The company intention for that would be we are suppose to assume that you won't tell us because then bots could figure the supar sekeret plan out and avoid it... I think the truth is that the test is so embarrassingly simple that the bots have already figured it out (years ago most likely) and that the player base would of lol'd you out of the arena if you began to describe it...
The monster race track does not need to be watched by the head gm ALL DAY to catch the odd ebayer, especially during a weekday! What you need to do is clean out the massively bot infested hunting grounds, starting from the level 80 zones and work your way down. Banning the insignificant level 10 bots generating a 10k adena and 5 animal bones an hour may look good on a press release, but it does not do the rest of us an ounce of good.
Most of those kinds of bots are run and protected by the strongest alliances on the servers, so they get quiet protected places to level where noone will report them.
lol spam, we were talking about "the GM runing around as an elpy" last night in party.. Everybody thought it was someone who had hacked a GM account because we haven't seen a live GM on the server since C1 on Bartz (atleast as we can remember).. Everybody was like, do you think GMs will return now? Like in beta? Would be really fun! and W00t, GMs doing something now? O.o..

im glad your doing something about them they are truley getting out of hand on some servers Spam also Giran is a hot spot for them since they get the quest for a free trip to giran.

Well, one GM actually moved a bunch of people for me once. An hour later they were back in the same spot, but at least I got a pretty fast response for a temporary fix.
Generally speaking the only GM face you will see on the servers will be me. You might see Pommo or Cykor. If you see Akahige you have done something really bad and might as well just log out.
All of our other GMs are on strict orders to never unhide. The petition queues alway have petitions in them and chit chatting with the public should never take priority over someone that needs help. I know it would give all of our player a better piece of mind if they saw the GM more... but unfortunately overall service would suffer. GMs used to appear all of the time back in the early days but a lot less petitions were answered then too.
As for what Mistryl and Omega said... well there must have been a misscommunication because they both know darn well there are GMs on all servers. :) Since I hired Omega as a GM way back in the day, I'm pretty sure he knows we have GMs.
So with all that said, maybe you will see me in the future on your server.
Pommo and Spam were great help and i saw Pommo in game back when I had some issues I was fighting.
Silver and Goose still on the GM team spam? I remember them from C2 when Devianne was the first server to siege inndaril and it was totally bugged they were rezzing people and port the guards caught inside the walls outside.

I am a hero on bartz. The bots I am talking about are killed by me and others from every alliance on the server. They are reported on a daily basis and are not protected by anyone but themselves. They are out in the open hunting level 80 field monsters. They have been hunting there for MONTHS.
Why would they need protectors? They are higher level then any of your characters and can fight off heros like myself with a little luck (LOL LEATHAL BLOW). I'll lay off spam when I stop seeing noblesses on my server named xcvd and -_- like that, hunting in 9 man parties hunting 2x hp lvl 80 monsters, with +7 augmented weapons and pof. They have No fear of the gms what so ever because they know gm's like spam are too "busy" watching worthless places like the mrt or banning insignificant lvl 30 bots hunting in the waste lands.

They are the ones that ensure others are enjoying their time in the game, rather than being the ones that say, and I quote:

When players start jumping ship in the fall for aoc and war, maybe then ncsoft will stop being backwards banning lvl 10 nobodies and start banning the real bots.
It's not about what you say, it's about HOW you say it.
I agree that the GMs need to do their job. But to have someone telling them to do it, demanding them to do it is just a point of contention.
They're going to do their job if you tell them or not. So really, coming in here and throwing insults around (Spam himself did call foul on you) is counter-productive.
As to how you can appear to be a hero in my eyes? It's all about attitude.
