Do you want a GM to be visible and interact with the players or do you want them to do their job?

Able to see that a GM is doing is job.

In order to do what you suggest, you would have to be looking over the GM's shoulder in real life.

Anyways, why do you have to visually see this. How does that make any difference between knowing that something is being done.

It helps to know if what you are doing is useful or not. Petitions are like a faith. You believe it's done or you don't believe. The truth not being accessible, whether it is useful to petition or not is your own opinion.
The original poster is only looking for clues about his faith. Like clues that there's a God, or clues that anti-wrinkle creams work... :p

very well said. and the only clues he has to go off are a /gmlist command that still works, but lies, and a bunch of bots that he has petitioned that wont dissapear until next tuesday, at which point he has already forgotten about them.

I took his/her post back to be in agreement of what i was saying. No counter-post was needed :)

Go to china and hire a load of out of work kids to become GM's for a small amount of money and let them play the game on 8hr shifts... thay'd love it!
