So, this is some stuff I've managed to scrape up from back before Lineage II was released even to Beta - some of it is rather interesting.

Q: Will we be able to take part in castle sieges?

The siege will play an important role in Lineage II. Laying siege in Lineage II is done in 3D, enabling players to be involved in air battles, breaking down ramparts and sniping. The 3D siege gives more realism and calls for more strategy, adding more complexity and fun to the game.

The government delegation system will strongly support the clan and alliance systems. Clan or alliance leaders can give a capability (or duty) to other members, like recruiting new members and collecting taxes. If a master doesn't give these abilities to any members, this is considered a centralized power system. Conversely, when duties are distributed to many members, a decentralized or democratic clan (or alliance) has been created.

Whatever happened to Synchronized Tactical Combat System

More to come...
fortresses imo.

fortresses imo.

Weren't fortresses to become clan halls for low to mid grade clans? Now they just stand there, and what are they going to do with it? Oh yes, some pvp festival that can be done 24/7....wow what an add to the game...
fortresses were for inter-server competition.

Yes, I'm really going to wake up early for that /European saying.
Synchronized Tactical Combat System is actually what the battle system in L2 was going to be called. Just wanted to see if anyone remembered :) ;) I think they felt they needed to call it something since we had ATB in FF etc.
