Have a simple question, or rather an observation...
I like the quest, the quest rewards are descent, etc, etc. What I don't quite get is the way you play the game, or it's purpose.
When you 1st read it, it sounds kind of like you'll be playing a hand of Poker. You get the dealer cut you a hand of 5 cards and then you flip the cards up one by one. It's not like anything is gonna change regardless of the order you flip the cards up since you don't have the option to keep some cards closed and redraw them.
So my question is, is there really a purpose to flip one card at a time? Wouldn't it be easier to simply turn all cards up at the same time?
Or to save time, "Yey, you win" or "Nay, you lose".
Yeah thats essentially what it is. You just click a bunch of unnecessary links, and look at your crude text "cards" and get your reward.
What really bothers me about this is that the quest was billed as "A mini card game to be enjoyed as a break from hunting". Yet all you do is hunt for 50 quest items then click links. It is by no means a "break" nor is it anywhere close to being a "game".
I prefer the Rock/Paper/Scissors game. At least then you have a chance of winning based on your choices rather than a predetermined outcome.
Not against a NPC. That's random too. Whatever you choose, you have 1 chance of a draw, 1 chance of a win and 1 chance of a loss.
Exactly the same.
It changes something when you have a real person in front of you, because of psychology. You may or not guess what the other will do on the next round.
