has a gm ever been on devianne?All the lower cats and necros are empty and very playable (if ur a lowbie) however if ur a higher level like myself and wish to level in a cat or necro it is absolutely impossible!!There is not one room open to level not one.Yea yea we know report them and u will do whatever it is that u do wich im sorry but it cant possibly be much.I have reported the same ones over and over and over,guess what theyre still there.Even going out in the world to hunt is absolutely impossible unless u wanna level on 8000 points then party and get jack.Are u guys actualy gonna do something about this or what? there is no way to level after the level 60 range unless u go for junk points cause the bots OWN the higher areas completely.There is actually 2 to 3 times the bots on our server than there is actuall players,I mean come on guys it is embarrasing.Something gotta be done about this we report them yet they remain,they have no right to be here.The use of third party programs is a bannable offence.How can we exspect to have the larger war agianst other servers if there is nobody here but the bots?We gonna have bot wars?Its beyond ridiculous.
Well a few comments about this, and unfortunately I have to come down on this pretty hard because of a few points.

I'm afraid this is very very untrue. It's completely possible to level after 60 as obviously hundreds of legit players have been doing it, including me. Even wars from half the server I'm still managing to level outside. Granted I have a clan hall but it's not bots that are my problem at the moment, although they're always a kind annoyance.

It's not so easy, not so much we can do. I'm sure everyone would love to fight only the bots, but apparently no one's organized for it. People want to play the game, what's left of it, etc, and they manage their way around it.

Well really server wars aren't the issue especially because we don't even know yet how server wars will work. I assure you it's not going to be only bots when they happen.
Now, those discrepancies aside, I understand your complaint and how you're aggravated at these bots. I gather you're a new player because older players have long gotten used to it. As for what the player base can do about it... well, the market is a long lost battlefield, however continuing to resist buying from any black market trade (adena selling, power leveling, character buying) will lower the demand. Additionally not selling characters when you leave the game will help. Players must not use the hopeless situation as an excuse to give in.
Second is an unlikely fantasy. In terms of actually eradicating them from the server ourselves, it would take an army of reds that risk their own gear and character. I've thought about doing this with a Kameal character, but I'm not the richest or fastest leveler. So it would take me a long time to get there. But... if you had a red, fully equipped, that can avoid greedy players, and wipe through loads of reds, and is equipped with the proper equipment like bsoe's to get out of there... well ta da. There's one fighter in a long hopeless war.
Solution: Find a friend who is a high level Scavenger to train the whole Catacomb and then play dead at the bot's location.
Result: Nothing but dead bots and your pick of rooms.
yes it is possible to level outside of the catacombs and necros,however,just to see the amount of these bots in the game should be embarrasing to ncsoft and those affiliated with them.To simply accept them and say(well thats the way it is) basicly giving up on the issue.Now im not saying thats what u have said but i hear it every day.
As far as cleaning up the problem,it wouldnt be as hard as most would think.Ingame gms could solve this maybe not overnight but quicker than they think.I have seen no attempt of any kind to deal with the problem. Alot of talk about it in post from the staff and so on but im afraid i dont have the faith that anything real is happening on this issue.
I've been here since nov of last year the game is great, the players play among and agianst eachother for the most part as they should(some jerks, but hey those are everywhere)and this issue should and can be delt with way better than it has been.As far as getting a group to go down a kill the bots where i would like to level,we shouldnt have to do such things.now agianst other players hey thats just part of the game but i shouldnt have to compete with 3rd party programs.
And yea i was madder than u know what when i wrote that post i trained two rooms myself and got killed by a bot keeper group or whatever they call them. and moved on to try and find more areas to level and not even one room was available.Anyway i kinda figured the post would be a waste of time,at least u had a reply.
just for an example there was a toon standing in giran spammong for adena and leveling sales.This went on for well over an hour maybe hour and a half.If there was an ingame gm (who need not be visable or vocal to anyone)this would have been takin care of as soon as it took place.It takes more than clicking an auto responce to deal with it.

sorry but this doesnt work, go to dark omens, saints, witches, devotions there is not one room free. Not a single 1. Where are you gonna get the mobs to train the bots from? If as soon as the mob spawns they agro it

Some bot programs are set up to select another mob if they are hit by another person. This is how we manage to keep mobs from bots. Unfortunately, programs are automated and will keep up at it for hours trying to get you in..whereas we "real people" have to constantly be on top of it to stay ahead. (Of course, this has resulted in a few "bot enforcers" coming my way to kill me and our friends....)
edit: oh and about the permared..I love the programs that are set up to forcelog when a red comes into range..makes me laugh :)
