3000 and 650 on devianne, respectively. with craft level 2 you can make mithril boots, which crush into c grade crystals but only take d grade crystals to make. parts for dark stockings, bone helmets, leather boots and exelent leather gloves (or whatever they're called now) also spoil really easily, if u need a few d cry. 6k for c cry is wayyy too much.
If you are really having trouble getting them Splatter buy 1 and set up a BUY shop overnight for like 2600-2800 in buy price. Guaranteed you will have some cheaper crystals in a day or two.

3600 (i think maybe as low as 3400) is the absolute max price that a C cry can cost
that is if all castles are set to 15% tax
at 0% tax the max cost is over 4k. (dualling D swords and crushing) at 30% tax (when i was on another server) the max cost was down to like 3800. ill have to pull out my old notes to show you
all crystals have a fixed price built in until S grade
price for C crys cant go above 3.6k (i think thats the max) and d crys are around 670ish
make friends if you think 6k is rediculous for C crys cause frankly it is ><
At Giran max tax, the *minimum* price you can get D & C Crystals for by buying from NPC's is roughly 680a for D and 3122a for C grade.
This is buying something direct from a shop to crush for D and making C grade duals from D swords. (Crimson * Crimson or SoR * SoR are the most common ways.)
So your D crystal prices are still well under 'ceiling' prices, but your C crystal prices are definately overpriced...
For B grade, you can either need some starter B crystals to make Black Ore jewels or some other parts that use C crystals instead of B for crafting. OR you could Dual some Lux shop swords to make something to crush for B crystals. Which means you need D & C crystals in quantity to start + either 500 SoP or a craftstamp as well.

yes. the only thing about it that fluctuated the cost is Drops and OE'ers. typically a serious OE'er will shout to buy some weapon or other for UNDER the npc price. since D drops are fairly common, you can bet there are a number of people with drops to sell for cheap anyway. ive seen tarbars sell for 1m.
there are 2 armors in the Giran shop that give the best crystal price - brig gaiters and excellent leather gloves have the 2 highest Crystal QTY : adena ratio (math lovers beware - multiply by 1 / Crystal QTY and invert the ratio for the crystal price.)
i have not determined that yet, best i can come up with results in a crystal cost of 3200 a each, so i havent gotten it down to 2800 where it should be.
C drops so far, ive only ever had 2: mithril gaunts and Karmian stockings. i burned through those resulting crystals in less than 3 hrs.
I have made, and still make so many C rings and drake boots and divine gloves through wh quest I always crush these. Its not much though but enough to get my alts through to B grade ( 2 weeks maybe).
so lux shop doesnt sell anything really worht crushing even when you buy cheap crystals (D 600, C 2800)
duals: the lowest crystal value i can find is Crimson*Crimson duals which yield 784 C, at a crystal value of 3008a when tax is at 10%. less value when taxes are higher (15% - 3137a)
