Update server - Connection terminated

I went to start my game and it said my connection to the update server was terminated. I restarted my computer, unplugged my modem and router, then replugged in both. The problem still presists, so i tried just clicking the play button and it worked. I got to the log in screen but it won't let me log in. I came here and saw the servers are down. Do any of you guys know what the problem is?

dude, it's Tuesday....

it's called weekly maintaince..

Not only that, but they are adding a event this week, and if it's like the last event the servers might be down for an extra hour.

Ok cool, thanks. I figured it was due to maintence but wanted to make sure. ^_^
