I know this will probably get out of hand and locked, but I had to share..
My wife pk'd a bot and after about 30 minutes he went back to town and ran back, I told him to bot later and he said
"90% server bots u problem?"
Another time I saw a clan which I and everyone else on the server knows as a "farmer" clan. I shouted out "Who killed a bot?" he ran up to me and said "I am Bots".
I petitioned both people and they are "being looked into"
Before bot programs were wide spread, they were played by live people. Sooooo cutre to have a female dwarf come up to you and ask... "party me ok ????" .. often followed by "5555555555555555555" if anyone gets that anymore :P

the bot dies...and still keeps yelling plees sop!<yes the bot spelling it as "plees"> for like 5 mins afterward...while takeing a dirt nap<im stealing that one lmfao>right out side of TI village...this was abck in C3 so i thaught it was a live person at first..then once it said the same junk over and over...eh..no such luck...
Mine isn't so much a quote, it's just the one time I missed a DB in a bot group. I saw the BD later on, standing over his dead friends, doing the same dance for them every 2 - 4 minutes, for the next hour or two that I was one.
Some of the bots i've ran into seem to be talkitive, but speak a language i'm not familare with at all, and **** i wish i could read it, Specially when they openly admit to being a bot (mostly all some other language, with the occasional english translated)
Probably the best convo i had was shortly before i watch the bot get the hammer.... Told "it" that i had gmed them a few weeks prior and just again sent in another gm, while waiting for a responce from the new petition, it was giving me a whole lot of grief, shouting out various profanities and nonsense. Actually trying to go red on me, stealing my kills etc. probably hoping to drive me nutz in some form, rather enjoyed the entertainment, then i got a responce from a REAL GM (not automated) and emediately saw the toon vanish into thin air, never saw the toon again.
That was back in C3 however.... Most enjoyable night i've had lol.
No no, the incident i was refering to was pretty much all english, not great english as most of the words were either spelt completely wrong (even for me) and grammer mistakes (even for me to notice means pretty BAD) and even backwards.
Situation: Obstacles cause bots to have issues when they lose line of sight, etc. so I rolled through TI village on my alt picking up Apiga that was scattered around the trees. The bots kept killing, some would get hung up, and I would pocket the Apiga after the period where only they could pick it up had timed out.
After a while a bot "manager" came out and started trying to pick up the Apiga that I was pocketing. One dropped and it started from across this field to go get it. I was already standing right next to it waiting...
"Come on"
"You can do it"
"Uh, uh...almost there!"
"You almost have it!"
"Two more steps!!!"
I was exping with a low lvl alt when a dwarf came over to me and wanted to trade some crop seeds to me. I denied taking the seeds and said that I don't seed allot because sometimes it's hard to deliver the crop to get the reward and the following conversation started:
dwarf: It's easy to deliver them.
me: It's not easy to deliver the crops that the bots are collecting.
dwarf: Just stand at the npc when it's time to deliver them.
I started to write a reply
dwarf: I let my dwarf seed and deliver the crop while I sleep or play my main. "mains name".
me: /gm "dwarf name" "main name" users of 3rd party program with proofs in chat.
Another time on talking island I saw a human fighter exping at the spiders. Following thing hapened:
me: hi
no response from the fighter fighter...he ran out of mp and sat down to regen some mp.
mi: hi
still no response so I hit him once and he started to hunt mobs again.
At one point he started to target mobs in the trees that he couldn't hit and was standing there for several minutes so I PKed him.
fighter (few minutes after in PM): you kill me?
me: yes. I kill bots and report them.
fighter: me no bot. kill me bad
I returned to the spot I killed him and he was alive trying to hit the same mob in the tree.
me: if you don't bot then why are you trying to hit the mob in the tree
fighter: what tree?
me: the one in front of you
fighter (suddenly writes good english): there are no trees here
me: do you know what 923 is?
(923 gets censored by the client showing it as -_-)
fighter: a number
I PK him again
me: I am sending a petition on you
fighter: how do I send a petition?
me: with /gm
me: why do you ask?
fighter: I am gonna petition you because you are a bad player and killed me twice.
In enchanted valley there was a well known botter working on his sub class. I started to ask him in shout if he could stop kill stealing my mobs and why he bots.
he replied in shout "I kill steal to have this area for my own and I bot because I want to be the strongest player in L2"
me: why play a game if are letting a program play it for you?
botter: I play this char 2 times a week and bot the rest.
me: you won't be able to play your char very well if all you do is bot
botter: let me show you
1 minute later he (52+ dagger class in full b grade) came and attacked me (43 gladiator), 30 seconds later he was dead.
me: maybe now you see why you should play more and not bot
botter: wait I will be back
he took to town and 10 minutes later he was back on his main class (78+ duelist in full s grade), 0.01 seconds later I was dead and he was red so I logged my main char (7x WS).
I ported to enchanted valley and found him still on his main class and still red killing mobs as usual with the 3rd party program.
me: I'm surprised you are still here
botter: ? who are you?
me: the gladiator you just PKed
he started to attack me, but since he could play his char it didn't take long before he was dead...he droped his tateo necklace and I picked it up.
me: I told you that you won't be able to play your char if you bot
botter: -_- you and give me back my tateo necklace!
me: ok. hold on a sec
I crystalized it and threw the crystals on the ground next to his corpse.
me: here you go
botter: what's that? I want my necklace not crystals
me: I crystalized them for you so you can make some shots you can use when you play your char.
botter: -_- you!
he logged and i picked up the crystals and made good adena from them.
The conversations isn't 100% accurate, but they are roughly as I remember it happened.
