Pig Tales! The best event item is the ultra rare Pig Tail Accessory, the only in-game accessory you wear on your rear instead of your head...tho some players are rumored not to be able to tell those apart. The next best is the 'PigTail' hair, but its the same for male and female so those macho DAs with pigtails and pink ribbons better have saved the hairchange potions from the last event! Anyway, lots bacon and pork rinds being generated by this event and that's the tale of the tail.
We hear your toon will be doing more than just increasing levels as you play year after year on L2. Geriatrics will soon enter the game with 'old' toons losing dex as they pass middle age, it will be harder to target mobs as your eyesight fails and quest items will dissapear to simulate forgetfulness. Feel sorry for the human female fighters and the DE ladies who have the added insult of, well....sagging. The 'youth potion' quest in the Garden of Eva will reverse these curses of old age.
Was it Adam Smith who said "An item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it"? Supply and demand set the prices in an economy unless (check your Econ 101 notes here) there is a monolopy or oligopoly. We have that in Erica now. One very smart person who is an expert in organization and spreadsheets now controls the economy, lets call them CIAisComingUP. Every wonder why there is only one buy store for doom glove mats and kris recs? Every wonder why you don't find the mispriced bargins you did 18 months ago? I gotta admit though, I admire someone who can figure our such a business opportunity and make it happen. Holler at me CIA, and I'll get you a MBA scholarship!
