So. i turned 60 today. wanted to do some catacoms and i was suprised how safe it was in there. I could walk from start to deepest side of cata witch whitout aggroing a single mob since every room was allredy taken. Not even possible to train the bots anymore. Thats about it for me, this game isent ment to be played. Even with sps i had problems finding a grinding spot but this time its gone over the line.
I was like 60% into lvl 60 :P would have gotten a grade today but this is sucha turn of. I dont think i will make the misstake to play a game from NC agin, the game itself is one of the better mmorpg's i have played. I spent majority of this week training bots. got like 5kk extra sp from deaths due to bots :P I SERIESLY CANT understand how it can be this bad, all nc got to do is take a look in catacombs. Even a ****** can tell that 99% of the chars in there is NOT live players. Also i cant understand Who all those bots are financing, they moust be farming billions every day... Seems like a majority of teon is ebayers:( I think this is the worst thing that can happend to a company , they get bad reputation and lose loyalfanbase, even some will dislike the dev company itself. like soe :P
Yes it is aweful that there are so many bots in Lineage II, however, the people of NCsoft are dealing with the issue as fast as they can. A lot of people using 3rd party software are being banned every day. About you threatening not to play an NCsoft game in the future, I can only say this. You wont find any online roleplaying games now or in the future that wont have bots, or people selling and buying ingame currencies. However annoying and troubling this is, it is a fact. One can only encourge people not to use 3rd party software or buy or sell ingame currencies, and let NCsoft take care of the problem, by taking action on those who do not follow the Rules of Conduct.
From what you are implicating in the title of this thread, you must be quite ready to leave the game or what? If you think of the entire 7-signs concept, one could actually be led to believe the exact opposite. By placing restrictions on hunting spots (whether dusk or dawn wins), you will automatically remove a number of botters from the catacombs. However, this thought is automatically destroyed on servers that have decided choose the same side, thus making it easier for people using 3rd party software to access the catacombs.
But if you don't want to be around botting or RMT problems, MMOs are simply the wrong genre. It's just that some games hide it better than others (lol instances).

Where is the prove of this besides what they claim here on their own forum ? There are so many known botters on my server who have never been touched by the GM's even though they get petition a lot and so many xp spots are completely over run by bot trains.. even Forge of the Gods has turned into one bot area..
They claim they ban but can not post the details, well we don't need to know the details but an ingame name with the date they got banned would do a lot to give those that try to play the game as is meant to be some reassurance their voice is being heard.

Had to quote you, all games have a huge ammount of bots, instances hide them very well thou, L2 that is mainly 1 big world can't hide them, therefor the bad reputation of having "more" bots.
