Firefox Extension and Website

Hello.. I am making a firefox extension do show LA2 Official Server status on statusbar, and also, in a website do you comunicate/keep informations about your online friends.

The extension use data from glop.org (server status) and la2friends data (friends, clan members, etc.).

Try it now, help me giving feedbacks and sugestions ^^

has the GameGuard conflict with Firefix been resolved then ?

I dont know nothing abou that conflit.. never had any problem, btw.. u can use it in another pcs like at work.. it dont depend lineage2..

How does it really work?
First: I can't get to the main page after i registered/logged in.
I just come to some other "main" page.

Second: Do i have to go to that page to see server status (which i've not found yet) or cani see it somehow in my broweser?

Ok, XD..

i am making it now, still very poor cause dont have many functions.

I'll insert a "Logout Button" then u'll be able to back to login page.

The serverstatus is shown in Firefox StatusBar (Bottom Right) of screen, so.. to use that, u need use Mozilla Firefox... have a link to install it in the head of the website.

I put it online incomplete to use all critics to help me made a perfect or almost perfect tool..

Obviosly yes, i cant get any lineage data or clients pc data, so, to be online u need be registered and need keep firefox oppended.

The default server is bartz, to change, do a right click on the extension..

To use all features u need register on site, then u'll be not able to change server because u'll select your one in the registration process.

the extension is in a XPI package.. its just a zip... to read the source just rename the file to ZIP and extract ^^

One thing that would be appreciated is the ability to edit one's profile, or one's clan profile. For instance, I made a clan profile for my clan, but did not have the logo in jpg format. I would like to add it in once I convert it, but currently cannot.

Also, the ability to list which servers the clans belong to. Like

The server list that u see have just your server clans...

but i can put that in "Statistics" section in the future or maybe just a link to "see all"

That may be a good idea, be cause I know some people have characters on multiple servers.

Or, like me, I want to look in on a clan I used to belong to on Bartz, compared to the clan I run now on Lionna.

hmm, if u get more than one acc, or play on more than one server, I sugest you to make a account to each Active Character.

if you type L2 into google odds are those are the first things on the list, but those are actually sponsored adds and he doesn't have any choice in what is shown there



He does have a choice. You can exclude certain ads via the Google management interface.

It appears that Sieghardt is always down on glop, so maybe you should find another source. I don't know how it works :p

It seems attempting to edit a clan's features / settings logs the user out.

Also, is it possible to use the clan section as a recruiting tool? Allow a clan leader to post a synopsis detailing what the clan stands for? And, as an afterthought, clan level?

If not, I completely understand, but I feel it might be a useful tool for those seeking information on clans on their servers which, in time, will drive more traffic to your site.

I was keeping him updated because he doesn't play anymore....

But its been a pain getting ahold of him.

Awesome. I'm just throwing things out there as they come to me, so don't imagine that it's a "Now now now!!!" thing.

I let all the "ubers" on my server handle the demanding whining.

I am getting very busy at work this week... but i'll make a new version soon....

and I got an idea of point system in the website... with more points u can use more tools..
