NCSoft does care about spreading Lineage II (PAX)

Check out our frontpage news which contains pictures of the Lineage II parts of the NCSoft booth:

Our staffer Nelson, who took the pictures, also got to meet Alyra and said she has a great personality and seems to be a great CM that other CMs could learn something from :) I am going to totally agree with him on that, Alyra just rocks! We're blessed to have her.

Hopefully he can also stop by the NCSoft meet and greet to take some more pictures and perhaps write a little about it...but his schedule is very tight, so he might not make it, but I am crossing my fingers.
well wat else would they put up? auto assault? lawl
Heh, well, Lineage II was featured quite prominently. They could simply have concentrated solely on their main NA titles such as TR and Guildwars.
Guild Wars... :p
That booth looks somehow familiar (http://img206.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ncsoftboothgencon2007mw7.jpg) . Oh yea, same booth at GenCon.

I wouldn't get too excited. If that's your sign they care about L2, prepare to be disappointed. I also stated this in GenCon thread, but they ran L2 on 0 of their 9 PCs on Thursday, 1 PC on Firday, and 2 (then 3 later) on Saturday. They had the 14 day trial codes, but not much else going on about L2. I never even seen the movies they usually play. The above monitors were just used to display what was being played on the PCs below.

Sorry to be a buzzkill.
ud think they would loop the lineage2 video event Winning video or something like that at least ;p and yea kinda bad Winona considering how big l2 is in the world compared to those other small games
Yeah true :( I did get a more detailed report later and Lineage II, while being on banners weren't showcased, only Guild Wars and Tabula Rasa was...but I guess they only had limited space, and in NA GW and TR are bigger successes.
PAX was awesome . it allowed me to learn more about how NCsoft lays out their games here . also allowed me to see how passionate the group from L2 there was.

but seems how this thread is about NCsoft caring about l2 ... well nothing like a good analogy to give perspective lol

Think of NCsoft as the parent company and each individual game as their subsidiary. Each is given their allowance but some of the games {ie Guild Wars} have a second company that has joined with them {ArenaNet} and adds money to their Advertising.

and as for no computers playin L2 ... while I was there I logged on my acct and went and got killed a few times at the Derby Track ... and on Sunday I actually ran and died a few times at the Giran Siege ... I even heard some people askin the rep about the game while they watched me. L2 if you thnk about it is a very hard game to preview at a Convention. even if a GM was causing havoc for the weekend on a server 9hrs of that could upset the balance of said server. Those of us who did attend I feel had the obligation of helping show the dynamics of the game ... Once I even logged on the comp with the large upper screens . now I want one for my Desktop !!! lol

ok enough on that . I will post a new thread about some stuff I chatted with the NC crew about .. and they are all great people and are working hard btw ~.^
That is awsome. We were prohibited from logging into our own accounts at GenCon. Keyboard hackings, etc. was the stated reason.
Yes, it was hard to demo the game at the low levels. It was ashame too...

Isn't that what we have GameGuard for to prevent keylogers?...nvm I just remembered that we have it just to cause problems for the legal players.
