destroyer for me :) frenzy+rage and 2 shotting yellow mobs rocks, and even with the upcoming change to it my opinion wont change...staying below 30% hp while soloing isnt a big challenge, espescially when monsters die in 2-3 hits lol. other than destroyer the summoner classes look fun, and i think i'll try one eventually :)

Necro:
Most diversity in playstyle than any other class in the game. Most variety of skills than any other class in the game.
while that may be true. it take more skills to play a PW and get behind you, then it does for you to sit there spam, gloom, DS, DS , DS, vamp claw. or vortex.
PW is a very balanced class, but needs a few improvements; so they are more on par dmg wise with their counter-parts: AW/TH.
I think I've had the most fun on my PW, more then I ever did with any other class I've played.
HE isn't as fun of a class to play as PW is, nor is BD. Necro requires alot of concentration if you want to be MP + cost effective in PvE.
Wait for Kamael new race. They have godlike skills.Probably to be sure ppl will play it.
( put oponent gear in inventory and kill him naked ? )
Any new patch will bring more fun balancing those skills.
Actually, I love my Destroyer. But, if I were starting the game over again, and I knew what I know now, I'd have a tough time picking between Destroyer, Tyrant or Glad. For that matter, if Warlord didn't seem a bit broken/nerfed, I would have a tough time deciding between 4 classes.
Most diversity in playstyle than any other class in the game. Most variety of skills than any other class in the game.
SH is a template nuker class - nothing all that fun about it, IMO.
I beg to differ...........
Overlord has an immensley veristile role in any group... albeit mainly clan.
I've tanked longhorn on my Overlord (not out of choice mind, lol), Used to always start off clan raids too because I thought soulguard was funny.
In groups you're the buffer, or you're the crowd control (nice for places like FoG or anywhere with group mobs). You also have a very good sleep. You can also melee providing short bursts of high DPS with a dagger and soulcry.
If anything goes wrong or a train comes in you can pop soulguard and AOE root/slow healing yourself with drains untill the mobs are killed.
Sieges you play a vital role in buffing and CP healing and must interact well with your clan to get everything running smoothly and your mana kept up. Also if you see your oppourtunity you can run in and AOE debuff.. but be prepared to get out as fast as you can because AOE's are an aggro magnet.
In PvP you used to be able to nuke and kill most classes apart from tanks without running out of mana, stun nukers or they'd kill you and also silence.... sadly with the stupid changes to CP pots and QHP you can't kill even an SH 15 lvls lower than you if they have pots.
You have all the Debuffs a necro has apart from anchor, but also gain stun which is really nice Vs most classes.
Oh, also in pvp you can Sleep for crowd control, CP heal for ally/single target... melee DD with a dagger, shoot people with a bow, debuff or simply nuke.

you could of edited your post and added that in, instead of double posting.

SK... Always thought it was fun (Hard to lvl? Yes. Useless? Don't think so... but what use is a class that you can level easy if you can't have fun playing it?)
I love WarCryer!
It's the best class I ever played and I enjoy every single minute playing. You buff, u "heal", u assist with decent melee dmg, you kill easily stupid ppl in PvP with SoulCry+Stun+DoT-Flame, u do riot control while PvE with an unnerfed sleep...
Destro/Titan... Playing "on the edge" ftw. Tons of adrenaline.
Always live party. Titan who box, lose 3/4 of pleasure playing titan. Fun >> exp.
IMHO
If you want concentration, try solo-AoEing on an ES (especially without outside buffs, this turns into a fraction-of-a-second game).
I do that with my Dark Elven Wizard!
She has a lot of SP for a lvl 24 though :)
Lots of fun to aggro lots of 1/2 HP mobs (Maille Lizardmen FTW), zigzag to regroup them and in one AoE you must kill them all.
BOOM! (http://img248.imageshack.us/my.php?image=badaboomcc7.jpg)
Needless to say that if you are interrupted while casting, you're quickly surrounded and beaten to death :D
It's the most intense I know from my humble experience, but as I partied with Titans, it must be really fun to go on Frenzy.
Also from videos I saw, Cardinal looks fun to play in PvP, but I'm not there yet ;)

Yes and with Bluff they don't even have to do that.
A skilled player will never let a dagger get behind them if they are straight up pvp'ing them anyways, so that's all non factor. Only way a Dagger can get behind any player worth their salt is to use bluff or whatever that skill name is that can stun you and always turns you around.
That lose target crap they do is weak. Always trying to interrupt my Anchor but I always fear first. GG interrupting a skill that refreshes in < 1 second.
If you have access to PP/SE or WC buffs than a Cursed Man is better than a Summoner's Servitor unless they put a prophecy on it. And it has better skills than pretty much all of them, too.
Also, this isn't about what takes skill to play it's about what class is funner.
And necro is a much more intricate class than any pure melee/dd/nuker and thus requires more skill to play. Far beyond the IWiN skills. What will you do if your Anchored is resisted? Not that simple and happens all the time in buffed PvP (what PvP isn't buffed) at higher levels.
I don't know how competent a player you are but there is nothing too hard about B2M down low and 1-3 shot high XP mobs that requires so much concentration on cost (no cursed bones) and MP (pick up HP Herbs and Body to Mind, or use boxxed SE) efficient... ... ...

There is so many things wrong with this, but I don't have the time to go point by point. Necros cast their debuffs from 400-600 range. You have to go in melee range basically to get them off (some exceptions). Necro also has Nuker M.Atk and you don't. Their land rate on their debuffs compared to an OL puts OL landrate to shame - especially with Gloom/Mass Gloom.
If the SH is spamming CP Pots, Gloom + Fear. Then kill it. It works, you should try it :p
Doesn't matter what debuffs you have because in PvP (u seem to intermix PvE and PvP alot but I digress) have fun landing your seals on anyone. You M.Atk is low and the base land rate is less than half that of a Necro debuff because they are AE debuffs.
Also, Necro is not a "nuker class" it's a hybrid summoner/nuker debuffing class. Nuking isn't the only thing you do in PvP. If people knew this when they subbed Necro they wouldn't suck so bad.
Necro is a better debuffer than Overlord even though theirs is AE due to range and landrate. Anything you have that we don't is probably useless in PvP anyways for the most part.
Also, I was under the impression that Seal of Gloom was an MP drain and not an M.Def debuff (educate me pls, seriously :) ).
SEs coz they fit in every party, there is only one thing i miss on that class, sm that would protect her from nukers, archers coz root will not do with those, shes missing the pdef and cant save her live with selfheals, the only option is run away... but is fun to play ;)

any necro who thinks fear is better than trying to para is a ****** and shouldnt be playing the game lol
What is most fun for you depends on YOU! Different classes are fun for different types of people. Do you enjoy helping others? Be a healer/buffer. Do you want to pretend you are uber? Be an archer! Do you want to pretend you are a vampire? Play a DE!
I have great fun playing a Cardinal (Bishop), but I also have great fun as a SpellHowler. I chose the howler as my sub since it is so different from the healer...does that mean I have a split personality Rumpunch?
It goes to whatever class is partied with me, because playing with me makes any class the most enjoyable. (I vote for Destro though, nothing like pulling 40-50 mobs and living to tell about it after they are all dead).
any necro who thinks fear is better than trying to para is a ****** and shouldnt be playing the game lol
I try fear before para because it is longer range and much faster casting. Also if you know the person has epics or a Dark Crystal set then para will most likely fail and you've just wasted time casting it.
The most fun I've had playing was with an Orc Raider / Destroyer, Orc Shaman, and Warlock. Hard to pick between these 3 for me. All of them have great crowd control capability, can easily solo, are outstanding in groups, and can hold there own in PvP.
I also enjoy playing Spellhowler, it's the best glass cannon in the game (when properly geared / buffed), but somewhat less versatile.
for pure innocent harmless fun a scavvie is awesome.
I was thinking of starting on a new server so went on and made myself a dwarf, got to lvl 10 and got spoil, killed myself at guards and got to lvl 10 again and got sweep. Then went round hunting all the mobs for the base mat recss untill I had at least 7 of each.
Just going round in walk mode, doing quests for gear and shots and gathering recepies to sell.
Every mob is fun with a scavenger, it's a new game to see which item you spoil next, or if you strike lucky and hit the rare spoil or item you need.
I think I made close to 3mil off that lvl 18 dwarf, enough to start a new toon

Fear is better than Para when a dagger can run up to you and use a skill to interrupt you cast. Fear casts 3x faster, has a great landrate, and recharges 3x faster.
Gloom > Fear > Anchor is better than Gloom > Anchor vs any class that can easily interrupt the cast: Bluffing classes, Stunners, etc.

that skill would be bluff (in bold italics). btw you don't get it till lvl 77...so GG.
the skill I think your talking about however is: blinding blow, which has a chance to stun, forces you to chance direction 160 degrees. and increases run speed for about 10 seconds.
atuo-bsps is very wasteful.
bsps does not help: BtM, corpse life drain. using bsps on those skills is worthless. using gloom with bsps on some mobs is a waste. not needing a bsps load to finish a mob is waste.
having to spend a 350a+ bsps + an 340a (taxes rate) C.B. per nuke = loss of money in grind. so say 2 ds nukes = 1 bsps A spent, and 2 CB's spent. 700a for 2 bsps, and 700 adena for cb which = 1400 adena used to 2 shot a mob.
thats not including atk fails, resistance, bad load on skill unneeded for bsps, mob drops no money, nor mats (nothing at all).
Although a Sps In DC heavy seemed like fun also LOL (Yes we did try :p One of our Sps is just that crazy Ha haaa)
I HATE OL in heavy... specially ones who used to think doom was good to AOE at a siege.... sooo slow cast speed, before you're finished you're dead... :o
Especially when you've got a fixed p.def boost soulguard which lets you have 1.5k p.def in robes.
only place for a heavy OL is in olympiad or maybe for the atk boost for PvE... then again light is also good there, with decent mp regen and cast speed also.
You do know you can make a macro to pop a BSPS before you do an attack right?
+1. Love it when people dont know even the basics of the game.
You do know that if you put multiple operations inside of a macro they regularly FAIL don't you? The only (semi-)reliable way to avoid a misfire of BSpS is to press the hotkey each time or have auto-BSpS enabled. You can't rely on in-game macros.
EDIT: above comments refer to chained commands (like BSpS Hurricane BSpS Hurricane). Macros work somewhat OK if you don't chain.
Being that macros are ran server side, it's bad enough that during a lag spike for a user, or durring a specific point where the server misses a few beats, that even auto SS/BSPS use sometimes stops working.
No, Macroing SS's/BSPS's is a 50% successful solution. Your more likely to die right when you needed it the most.
Used it for all my skills except body to mind on my necro, otherwise I'd of probably wasted about 50mil in BSPS from 40-75 on body to mind while I lvl.
I don't know what you guys were doing, but it never failed for me that I can remember.

I explained in the edit to my post. My issues with macros results from chaining of multiple commands inside a single macro not on single skill use.
Yet we were talking about just what tha_don said, which has nothing to do with chaining skills or other functions. Chained macros only fail when you interrupt them ie. type or do something else while the macro is running(server lag and client lag are another issue, but you cant blame the macro not working when the whole game isnt working :P). High enough delay values help keep lag caused interrupts at minimum, but they work only in buffing/recharging field imo.
And if you fear that the BSPS wont trigger in that macro, you will most likely be in a situation where auto-usage isnt working either.

WOW! You are so wrong. Chained macros fail due to skill re-use delays causing a skill to be missed, BSpS not triggering, etc. It has nothing to do with interruptions (like when you press a key). Auto-BSpS on the other hand works just fine.
As an example: if I put <bsps CDL bsps CDL bsps CDL> inside of ONE macro [this is a chained command in a macro] it will fail without adding the minimum delay of 1 second in between, and even then, it will fail sometimes. If instead, I put bsps on auto mode and just press and hold the hotkey for CDL it will work perfectly, never fail, and bsps will always trigger (OK, maybe not always, but for practical purposes it is always).
Now, the above example is a ridiculous example since it is so easy to fix. A more challenging example is if I want to cast <bsps Dark Vortex bsps Death Spike bsps Death Spike bsps Shadow Flare>. This is virtually impossible to do with a macro without adding at least one delay (of 1 second) in between the Death Spike and even then the bsps will not always fire. This skill sequence is a common sequence (for example in Hot Springs if you don't use CDL due to war tags) and gets used over and over and over and can't be automated with macros! It is infuriating.
You do know you can make a macro to pop a BSPS before you do an attack right?
+1. Love it when people dont know even the basics of the game.
honestly it doesn't matter I no long play Necro. But when I did I had Bsps on F3 key on my hot bar. when I was ready to nuke I'd hit F3. macro's are not relaible. too much for a chance at failure, cause if you do anything at all move your chr, type a word, hit another key that macro fails to load, or loads the bsps but don't fire the nuke, or loads the bsps breaks, then you hit the same key skill fails cause bsps is already loaded so macro fails.
I understand Nastromos is really good at macro linking things. How ever I don't need a new keyboard.
But at a cost of 1400 Adena for 1 mobs is quite expensive if you ask me. Much less if you load a bsps for a btm in the middle of that mob. thats a waste of Adena.
I LMAO at any nuker/buffer that runs with bsps on auto just cause it has a fraction of a second cast speed bonus. Apparently they are hella rich. If they got that much money then maybe they can give me some of that cash.
