Anyway, I'm glad that the event is back. Never been here on the time of the event, but everyone says it's great, so I'm looking forward to finding out myself.
I just have to "LOL" at the pure timing. First there was no event's for like what 3 months?
We just steeped off one event into another one, of a different magnitude, into yet another money making event.
The problem is the market is deflated big time on bartz. In other words: low prices, Unable to sell high cause market is over supplied, and not enough demand. So good for buyers, bad for sellers. Making for under appreciated value in the items.
While Medal event is good and all, I'd been happier at a later delivery date. Something like the 14th to the 30th or something along those lines.

unless your trying to sell l2day scrolls and potions you have no need to worry
+1 more event with worthless awards most of the higher lvl playerbase has no desire for(and not to mention just clogs up our inventories)
what exactly does the medal event all entail reward wise? I assume l2day scrolls? What aboue enchants?
Also is it just a standard drop from mobs? or is it special coins what? I may have done this event before but it's been awhile so i'd like a refresher! :)
It’s that time of year again! Collector Bashtal is looking to expand his precious medal collection and has sent his feline assistants, Louie, Roy, and Winnie, to accept medals and give out gifts in return on his behalf. Those who choose to help him will be awarded valuable gifts of scrolls, potions, and even a Red Party Mask! The event begins on August 31st--check the official Lineage II site for more details.
The more events the better far as I'm concerned. As for lowering the market prices on certain items; the players need relief. Any event that can bring valued items to legit players is awesome far as I'm concerned.

ahhh I love the events like this . takes the speculators and investors who try to keep the market high and smashes them like bad mortgage companies lol
and this event is still my fav . second only to the first RB event and the first Pumpkin event {not squash} lol
After the first running of this event, they told us to keep the badges for future events. The badge was good for the 2nd running, and should be for this one as well.
I deleted my medal event badge from C3 a loong time ago and didnt take part in the last one >.> Oh well, someone from the clan can get my rewards >.>
I find it funny tho how different items are priced :P lvl 12 cry 10k while maj necklace is over 6k. Maj necklace sells for like 10mil while lvl 12 cry sell for around 100mil lol :P Or EWA that goes for around 6mil and costs 3k medals, yet at 5k medals you can get a lvl 11 cry that is around 45-50mil. Makes one believe that the reward tables are made solely for the Korean servers.
I love it that its coming back, though really sad that they deleted my 5000 medals last time when Interlude came around, was really looking forward to a level 12 crystal :(
I am not sure I'll bother with this one this time, between limited time because of stratics and the prospect of not having enough coins for what I want and then losing them doesn't make the odds good.

Ouch! They're 38-40m on my server. The level 13's go for less than 100m.
They must be basing the number of medals on the npc value of the items. But yeah, be sure to maximize the value of your medals by getting and reselling the right items.
