Since we got this brand spanking new dwarven section thing going, thought I'd start a discussion I'm curious about.
What is everyone's preference concerning 1 hand blunt w/shield vs 2 hand blunts? Depending on the shield changes rumored in CT1, will any of you consider going 2 handed blunts more seriously?
Personally i'm all about the 2-hander already. I've went full DD tatts/tallum setup (ok, armor is because i've already failed IC bp twice and working on a 3rd now), and I really like the extra patk from the Dragonhunter axe. Also i've got an incredibly sweet augment on it, so that kinda makes it impossible to get rid of. :p
I like to use 2h blunts on my BH. I don't have any tat's or any real statistics on the damage output or anything, I just know that I like the way he swings them :p
Also depends upon buffs and party make up. For solo I really like 1 handed blunt and shield for the occasional block (don't get beaten up quite so much).
I've used top blunts through B-grade and prefer those on dwarves...mostly because they at least consistently hit. Also the SA's on the higher ones help a lot.
Two handed was never an option for me before ( because they wherent in ) . I can see the bigger damage they do but i still prefer one handed or a pole with higher crit rate and same atk speed.
My paladin uses a meteorshower focus als has additional +10 crit on argument and that thing crits a lot and almost never miss. So far the best blunt ive seen.
MS is low A grade one handed blunt
if their was an S grade blunt with focus that would be the highest dps blunt in game - but there isn't and the best you can get is the top A 1/2 hander (enjoy hunting dino island)
meteor will outdamage any 2 hander (except the top A with focus) when fully buffed
i could be completely wrong on this one, but isnt the top A blunt with focus the MS?
also, is destroyer hammer a newly introduced 2H blunt (as in C5/Interlude), and is it worth investing money once my BH hits A grade?

Chance of silence when using skills. +10 crit +12 pdef and some other i cant remeber now. Was using a mid grade life stone.
Almost the same as I got from a no grade lifestone, but change "Chance of Silence" (nukers and healers/buffers might want to stop reading at this point :p) with "Passive Clarity" on my S grade blunt...not sure what it's good for on a WS.

thx for the info Roh. i'm surprised i've never heard or seen this barakiel axe (on hinde atleast). i wouldnt mind getting that one myself, if i knew where to spoil for mats and stuff. ty again.

Active skill: Paralyze lvl10 (I get 30 second top lvl anchor :p)
The cool thing is the reuse = duration, so as soon as it wears off i'm casting it again. :)
And I'd love to have one of those new TopA grade Interlude blunts since they can have focus SA...but yeah those dino's dont wanna cooperate too much. :p
