AZERTY keyboards need some love

Hello Alyra and all the team!
The patch messed the login again for AZERTY keyboard users. It's a known issue which is regularily fixed and broken again.
Might you smack the big children who forgot it again? :D

Thank you!
I'll let the QA & tech support teams know.
Humm,

Alyara, whenever Korea pushes another GameGuard update to the PPS would it be an idea to notify us players? This way we can test the login part of L2 before it is released on the Live servers.
I can't help but notice that I see issue's like this popping up almost everytime now when it is GameGuard related.

My fellow players, would it be too much to ask to update your PPS once a week? If the PPS starts giving issue's like the OP stated you could "test" it out there first and thereby maybe prevent such issue's from making it to the Live servers.

I'll let the QA & tech support teams know.

Please also tell them it has been this way for the last five or six times you guys fixed things around the login screen. It is always the same issue: all is fine for me (and most others), but people with french keyboards cannot log in. You fix things for them, and I (plus a few others) get the "keyboard security failed" error message at the login screen. That gets fixed, the french people cannot login again. It seems it is impossible to fix both at the same time :)
Woot "keyboard security" error message is back :)

Good that there are some things in this game which always work 100%, like this error turning up again when french keyboards are fixed...
you could always buy yourself a real keyboard...

"Impressive" but utterly useless reply there buddy-boy. Think outside the box...

Now if you really want to impress me make it crystal clear to NCsoft Korea they are deploying a game which is played "outside" the Korean boundries. Maybe that way we can use whatever keyboard we like? Maybe even use unicode etc...

Make that happen, mk?

...or just try using Windows Vista, L2 works perfectly fine on it with a French keyboard :p
"Windows Vista" and "works perfectly" in the same sentence... we gonna believe you...

Login for AZERTY keyboard users has been fixed in the last patch for me. Thank you!
Windows Vista does work perfectly fine under a fresh install on supported hardware...

i'd even go as far as to say works ungodly beautifully..... My XP install has been trashed since october 2006

He he i know it seems strange, as a matter of fact i would never have written such a thing 6 months ago, but now, with all the updates that have been done, yes it's working perfectly fine :)
(but i'll never ever buy a new Microsoft OS the month of its release ever again  )

Nah, beside I do not have too.
My US-International keyboard makes traveling to Korea or any other part of this world unneeded.

US-keyboard layout is way to simple for my taste, it just does not float my boat.

At least I can think outside of the box.

Carry on though, rofl
