More than 40 per cent of all Trojans for online games target Lineage 2, with World of Warcraft (20 per cent) the second most popular target. Other online games coveted by hackers include Gamania, Tibia and Legend of Mir. Each accounts for about six per cent of password-stealing Trojans.
Just to keep people on their toes. Change your password regularly, in-game and PlayNC account. A friend lost everything last year because he naively downloaded something Lineage 2 related from a 3rd party vendor.
Lineage II may not be the #1 top rated MMORPG there is, but it's **** sure the most targeted for fraud.
More RL money to be made off L2 ^^' It makes sense, and WoW doesn't have that many more players compeared to L2 either, i think WoW just passed L2 in active accounts?
NN, the singer in your sig has the reputation for being a real ****** in real life, an air head and although your pics dont show it, she has the wierdest eyes that verge on Anime like (over sized), but a very popular JPOP singer never the less.

The only thing GG stops is normal day-to-day apps!
The most common trojans are hidden in non official stuff. I know of some examples...
You know that site we all use but can't talk about, well their 3rd party tool is distributed on sites other than their own and you can pretty much guarantee it sniffs passwords.
Same with the automation tools - I can bet you ones which don't originate from the developers sites are laden with trojans.
Simple - if you deviate away from using the official client you're extremely open to having your account details stolen. Just don't do it - it's against the EULA so you're digging your own grave and get what you deserve!
I agree that blah has nothing to do with this, allthough I can see where NN is coming from.
I'm sure there's been a few posters who included something not so wanted in one of their links. It may have been removed but you can still potentially get a trojan from Blah if you really use half your brain and think about it.
However what NN said about downloading anything L2 3rd pt related still stands. Just don't be an idiot and chances are you won't end up getting yourself jacked.
