what A gr. pole and SA best for spoil ?
play style: PVE, catacomb
On my WS I preferred a pole with health, but critical stun might be nice to (it gives you few seconds to sweap if stun lands on rest of the mobs)
halberd with haste for dps and more vr goodness
maybe crit stun but don't touch any other SA
Health is nice if you are a puller.

If you are in party with a warlord then you won't be.

Get a tallum glaive with wideblow.
yup if you want to pull health is nice but (and you already know this cause i read your set up in the other thread) you can get health on a low C grade blunt and get something which is actually useful when you pole
There are 2 great setups, both are very effective I think. If your a 'tank' type dwarf, maybe the Tallum Glaive/health with Majestic armor would be the route to go. I preferred the Halberd/haste and Tallum armor build for DD dwarves personally though. The tank build means you can pull and survive longer, but the DD build makes you kill faster and survive better with VR hp return. It boils down to playstyle preferance.

With the rumored VR changes in CT1 though, and the mobs tracking/stacking ability in Interlude, other SA's and builds deserve consideration again though. Since mobs dont line up perfectly as much anymore, wideblow has become useful for once. And crit stun may help you survive better in CT1 if VR really does become less effective.

AoE/Poling changes with each chronicle, and sometimes adaptation is required as different strategies work better and others become ineffective. Best thing to do is to look at how you wanna pole, and where your gonna be poling, then decide from there what you feel is the best build to do that. :)

A +0 Halberd with Haste has like 1-2 less DPS +0 Tallum Glaive (Depending on your gear setup), so it's better to have a Tallum Glaive with with either Health or Wide Blow, IMO. And Wide Blow give you acccess to more mobs which = more HPs overall.

Unless you have access to an OE Halberd with haste it's really not worth it. And It's cheaper to get a Bare Bones Tallum Glaive than a Halberd with Haste.
cheaper to get a OE halberd than a +0 tallum
Halberd looks way cooler than TG as well imo :< The halberd (along with the lance, though slight minus cool points for that since it's a piercing weapon while the character swings it like a slashing weapon) is the coolest looking polearm in the game imo.

And yeah as for SA's.. stay away from long/wide blow, as you can work around those by just doing proper pulls. Health, critstun, and haste are all viable options depending on your setup. I would maaaaaaybe put Health lower on the list, considering you won't be saving your healer any mana by getting more max-health, and you won't be taking less damage with it. All it is is a safety buffer. I consider health to be more of a pvp augment.

+1
Sa Health is more a pvp augment or for puller.
