As a monk, Should I wear light or heavy armor?

I know you need light armor for agile movement but people say that heavy is alot better for 20-40 then light
heavy armor bonuses are better for you in low grades. when you get to C grade you start contemplating light armor because the choices will SEVERELY affect your STYLE of play. even more in B grade, and again in A. there are MANY ways to play a Tyrant each way has its own armor setup and weapon. but in Low grades you dont have the skills to tie the setup together. i could tell you the common Tyrant setup for haste, but you dont get the skills necessary for this until C grade so it would be pointless until youre ready to begin the good life of Tyranny at 40.

get to 40 in Mithril heavy, or Clan Oath Heavy, or Half Plate, or whatever the F you want, but dont focus on the 20-40 gear setup because you can get WAY better stuff in C. the 20-40 grind doesnt take long (Dion hills 20-26, Execution Grounds 26-30, dont go to catacombs yet, do the Death pass/Hardin's academy for the 30-40 cause the kills are faster and cheaper) and when youre finished with that you can start building up like a rockstar.

the 20-40 grind doesnt take long

/Clears throat :)

I'm a firm believer in light, but of course i'm biased.

theres always the exception to the rule.

of course, splatter also has alts, and plays casually. for most people that play heavily and dont really alt too much, and have a main or a good clan with higher levels it isnt too big of a deal.
