I appologize to everyone. I know this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find it with the search and the support knowledge base doesn't seem to have the answer.
What is the Maximum amount of Adena that can be in the Clan Warehouse.
I realize that 2 billion is the max bid at auction, but I thought you could have more in the clan warehouse. If you can bid more than 2 billion, what is that amount too?
The maximum amount of adena transferable at one time has been changed. This applies to exchange between players and transactions through private store. Previously, it has been capped to 100,000,000 adena. Now it is extended up to 2 billion Adena. In addition, the maximum amount of stackable items put on private store is extended to 1 million.
The limit on auctions is in fact 2b which means the CWH must be able to hold more. Apparently there is no limit. However, the integer field in SQL has a limit so I'm sure if one was able to get enough adena they could actually lose some by the database truncating the amount they truly had.
Would be funny if someone did happen to lose adena and they checked.. int(12).. ****it, owned by SQL.
FYI - question not fully answered, so I resubmitted and hopefully I'll get a final answer for you.

Hi, please could you let me know if there is a limit on the amount of Adena a single PC can carry in the inventory, private warehouse and clan warehouse and if so, what it is respectively.

Well the exact amount of adena you can have in the Inventory is 2,147,483,647 which is equal to 2 to the power of 31 minus 1. It always has something to do with 2 when it comes to computers... good thing I've learnt my maths :) So that's probably the maximum bid I think... I don't know if this is of any importance for you, though...
Why is it such a hard question to answer? IMO it's a technical question because if I put too much adena in my warehouse and lose some of it, who do I cry to? I know who..

This probably the most correct answer. The GMs will always tell you 2.14. This is the max bid, this is the most you can hold, this the most any warehouse can hold. The limit for adena is the same for all containers. I do not have an exact answer of exactly how much for you at the moment though.
If adena ever goes over this amount it is not totally lost. The GMs can actually see the full amount by auditing transactions. (ledger style)
The amount is then split so it can be handled by players again.

My clan warehouse just got hit by this bug. We've been gathering adena from the manor system from the castle we own for over a year. We had almost 2.15 Billion and now it reset to 1 adena. I removed the 1 adena to see if it would come back, but that didn't help. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I submitted a ticket. The senior GM's are investigating it.
It must be possible to check for the last week how much adena went in and how much went out. That way it is easy to check if there was a reset in the clan warehouse.
Well, it is stupid to reset it to 1 adena... would be more intelligent to reset it to the maximum, don't you think???
Intelligence has nothing to do with it. it's the way the database works.
most things work like that when counting. at least in computers, they get to their limit, being 2^x, and when they add +1 all the 1's become 0's but they don't have that extra bit that should become a 1

The CWH should do the same with adena as your personal invetory does with weight. If you try to put more adena in the CWH than it can hold it shouldn't let you put it in there.

What automatic addition? If you are buying a CH you certainly wouldn't go above the limit for that reason. if you filled the CWH and sold the CH and got 1a, then you sold your CH for 2a.
