Like the title say I just started to play L2 again. I have been away for around 18 months. The game is so much differant than I can remember. So I was hoping if someone could answer some of my questions. My main char is a lvl 47 OL. What I would like to know is. First of all where is a good hunting place for me? Where do people group nowadays?
Your a OL, you wont really get parties with mixed groups, because your dang near useless in them... and your alliance wide buffs are becoming clan only in the next update.
The good ol days of Cruma parties/etc are pretty much over. Could chill in Dion/Giran looking for catacomb parties but on some servers those are mostly clan only as well.
I recently came back to lin2, too.
I do find people to group with out-of-clan. Usually I come upon them while out hunting -- if you go someplace level-appropriate, chances are the people you meet out there will be similar in level and hunting.
I never understand the strategy some people seem to follow of yelling in town for a party. If I'm in town I'm not hunting, and if I'm hunting I'm not in town, so you're not gonna catch me. Walk up to me, greet me, and say "party?" is what it usually takes. :)
Sign up for 7 signs and head out to the necrop or catacomb. I have run into people in other places, but the dungeons are best for finding people, since they're smaller and condensed.
I didnt exactly return, but I rerolled on a europe (thank god decent ping..) server and are having a really good time as well :)
Look for the ones who respond when you type something (besides automated responses), they arent many.. but they still exist!
