What class to pick

I usually like melee classes but i'm worried because i hear they're underpowered. How will rolling say a gladiator affect me?
Quick! someone close Pandora's Box!

What classes have you played so far?

Gladiator isn't bad by the way. Not a WTHIJUSTOWNEDTHATGUYHARD class, but a decent damage dealing class. They are fun to play and have a couple interesting skills.
That was almost a year back. I think i made a rogue and some dark elf fighter to 20, i forget which i picked, it was draining things and got an attack bonus.
Well, if Gladiator sounds interesting, I think the best thing to do is try it. Getting to 40 is way beyond where you went before, so it will be a challenge. I would liquidate any assets on your old characters and use the warehouse freight manager to transfer the cash. If you still have a decent No Grade weapon from before, I would transfer that. That will give you a leg up on leveling a new human to 20. Use Stratics's Guides (http://lineage2.stratics.com) to help you out with getting newbie soulshots and rewards that you can sell (low No Grade weapon for example).

If you get short on money, make a dwarf, transfer a NG weapon to him/her and start spoiling for materials to sell in Giran.
Spoiling means using the manor system right? Can't i do that on whatever toon i make? Or is that totaly something else?
Looks the same, same basic idea except no seeds needed. Spoiling is a dwarf only skill. After 20th level, it is only useful if you go Scavenger and Bounty Hunter.

But you should be doing manor system on your new human too. There is a Giran SOE scroll that you can save til when you have a lot of materials saved up to sell. Then do the quest in Giran if you want a Talking Island SOE to get back. Although by that time, you should have outgrown TI.
