So i figured dual swords are still swords thowards power smash the warrior skill. Turns out it isnt. Now i have a Saber-Bastard Sword with 84 patk but i cant use my fighter skill and one one of my warrior skill. Should i like try to sell it or something? I dunno what to do, some guy tells me i'll save shots because it's slow, i'm kinna new at all this, help?
Also what's the diff between specing light or heavy armor. If it's all the same which looks cooler?
Heavy armor protects better, light armor is easier to move in (so may give better evasion).
In my opinion, you don't really need to follow your skills for d-grade levels. Any fighter type I work on, I put in heavy armor with a polearm. For me it's the fastest, even on a supposed-to-be archer
The dual swords you have aren't the best, but it shouldn't limit you too much. If you could easily sell them and get something that matches your charcter's skills better, that'd be good. But if you just put yer head down and get to level 40, that'll be fine too, and you don't really need power strike or things like that.
As far as skills go, I would skip the light armor masteries, regardless if you're planning to go warlord or gladiator. But if you bought them, it's not like those skill points will really hurt you in the future.
If you want to sell them, you can easily calculate the price: find out how many D crystals one get get by "crushing" them, dwarven artisans & warsmiths have ability to crystallize items. http://www.lineage2.com/Knowledge/item.html
Then count the (price of D crystals on your server )*(crystal count) and you get approximate value to sell it for.
e.g. 1927*650a=1 252 550a
650 can be good price for D crystal, depending of server of course, so any dwarf could think of buying your swords. Or set it to 700-750a for some more profit.
This works for almost all items, you can count price to crystals and consider if item is really "Look here cheap". Exceptions are higher grade weapons (A B) and some armor parts completing sets.
