the resistances were cut in half and the other half is changed to increase land rate, ie: zaken 40% stun resist will be 20% resist 20% land rate to stun attacks
i was checking through trying to work out what clan you belong to and wow man have you ever made a post that was even remotely contributed to a thread?
This change will benefit people without jewelry as well. At least us with stuns.
Everyone and their aunt's roomate's dog who pvp's regularely have some form of boss jewelry these days. Add in resist shock (lvl4 in our ch, not sure how it looks like on others) and you got yourself a whole lot of people running around with a heck of a lot of stun resistance with no way at all to increase stun landing rate (except enchanting it for another ~5%).
I'm guessing people with root and sleep will feel the same way. Even if they don't have boss jewelry themselves, it will still land more in CT1 on people who do.
It actually hurts everyone without jewels if you think about it.
A even greater chance to stun you, root you, sleep you, etc...while you still have no chance because added all together its still a hell of a stack to get through.
epic gear is around to give something to do for the strong alliances, raids & pvp for them raids as well a way to reward clan members who have been contributing a lot to their clan..
if you want epic gear start participating the game as it was meant to be instead of flaming people over it on a forum

Hard work for epic jewels? Newsflash, you can buy them. Plenty on sale for those willing to pay for them. You can be unclanned and still buy a full set of jewels, so really, it is not something that you can attribute to clans and alliances doing raids only.
PS. If NC enforced its own rules, the "strong" alliances would disappear pretty much, hoho. Same for _many_ of the current epic jewel owners.

not sure if your server is like mine but the so called "strong" clans on my server that go after the jewels are packed full of botters and ebayers
so we know alliances filled with botters get them
and we know anyone with a will and a gold card gets them
so what about the legit populace? before you assume i don't have any you would be right, however it is well within my power to buy one or 2 but i don't feel like handing over my hard earned billion adena to a farmer group or my wartags who have botted their way to the top
if NC managed to enforce their own rules the dynamic of who gets the jewels on my server would shift from the mega botter alliances to where it belongs - namely my clan :P

Boss jewels have nothing to do with clan/alliance strength. I've seen everything from Core to Antharas for sale. Valakas is IIRC the only jewel that I don't see for sale or haven't seen. Frintessa/Orfen/Core/AQ/Zaken/Baium is in Giran most probably atm.

All effects of the boss jewels shouldn't exceed more than 5-10% at the very maximum..
Funny thing is, alliances like yours are the ones who raid the epics and put them for sale, totally negating your "accomplishment" by handing them out to randome ebayers on the server.
You don't play on Kain then as no we don't sell our epics so GL in trying to get an Anthy Frint Valakas or Baium as we got those basicly on lock even though we have to fight our way in alot we still win 90% of the time. AQ & Zaken is a bit harder to beat the farmers so thats prolly a 50% success rate for us but have fun buying them for 800mil~1bil in Giran and let's be serious who cares about Core & Orphen ?

Times change. In the beginning I could not imagine someone ever selling an Antharas Earring too. Now in Interlude, if the price agreed on MSN is high enough *cough* the earring will definitely be sold ;)

Not to mention its more the russians than u lol
we brought 70ppl and did Anthy the day after ^
true on the russian part but imo they outnumber most ppl on any given server, remember how many we had before Teon & Franz were created Ferst ? also the so called light side of the server has same amount of russians (POW, ND & Twilight to name a few) but we do appreciate it that you guys made a solid 3rd side as it did make the game a little bit more endurable untill we have our server transfers :cool:
