Okay...I'm using this skill, but having trouble sweeping when poling. I've done several searches and I guess a macro is needed, but how do I target and sweep a DEAD mob when I never targeted it to start with?

This is really frustrating me.......and if someone could help, that would be AWESOME......

Not sure about any macros, but If you hold down the Shift key, you can select dead players/mobs. I used to do it when my BH was in his 40's, but I've since given up on it at later levels. It just seems so hard to get the right mobs targeted.

Another way is to find another BH or Warsmith to sweep as they start to die. That way you can concentrate on killing. Either way, it's a pain.

The way to do this is training :)
The best tips would be target the mob with lowest mp to sweep it fast once he die.
If you can't do that or if too much mobs die at once, then use the shift key to target the dead mobs and sweep then.
I heard the official gamepad let you target dead mobs using one button. That would be the easiest way to do it but I don't have it myself ;)

Practice holding shift and selecting mobs. Another technique that helps, is changing the angle of the l2 camera.

High angles work best for me.

practice practice practice. I haven't played my FS in a while since I have been working on subs. Right now I would probably get about 50% of the mobs in aoe groups, before I was getting 90-95% of mobs.

Thanks!! The shift key works, but yes, it takes PRACTICE for sure.....right now, I'm getting about 50%...but before I was getting MAYBE one mob......so that's an improvement.

I believe you can make /target mobname macroes. if you are fighting the same mobs over and over.

Unfortunately, I've tried /target mobnames and in a cata or a necro, there is some kind of glitch and it wants to seem to target the mob in the NEXT room. LOL...well, that doesn't work for me on any toon, obviously. My clannies and I were playing with this several levels ago on our gladis to target the wisps asap before they targeted our mages.

BTW, Kandle, if you're ever bored......come with me to NoS...I'm still killing the bots that killed me. Every chance I get.
