Unless you pvp frequently, I'd go -----con.
You don't need a safety buffer in pve unless you die a lot, at which point there's probably a different cause than your lack of hp in the first place.
I've been -9 con since my 50's on my wl with the philosophy that hit harder = more healed. I don't ever have a problem with "too little hp" in pve. I can't even remember the times in pve where I've died but could have lived if I had more hp.
More hp does not make you easier to heal, it just allows your healer to lag a quarter of a second more, and more hp does not give you a greater return from VR.
Granted, all this will change in CT1. It depends on what poling will become.
What's kind of a paradox is that assuming you make a party with a "tank poler" and a "DD poler" to make healing more efficient, the tank poler has no way to get aggro. If you're going to invite a proper tank class to spam hate, you're better off with more offense. If you're going to be tanking your own trains entirely, yeah I could see HP being important - but on the other hand you will take less damage by killing the train faster.
lvl 78
NM Set or IC Set
Saint spear health
Basalt battlehammer health
+5dex+4str-9con
duo with BD + pp/se buff oop = 0.5x per buff in disciples
full party in darkness room (only one with pole mastery) = 0.3x per buff round
I will try soon duo in darkness room and update the % per buff round, should be good imo.
I never xp in FoD so I can really help you but if I remember well at 76 I was able to make more than 1.5% in disciples per buff round. (For sure a little more than 1% at 77)
you guys really should use a meteor or the other weapon with focus (from dino island)
depending on buffs that will give more dps and be a hell of alot cheaper

I had Meteor Shower Focus and I change it for the Basalt BattleHammer, mainly to have only S grade but also for the bigger p atck.
Imo Meteor Focus >> Elysian but Basalt >>> Meteor Focus
with L2Calc, full buffed with doomcryer + BD + SWS + Catbuff:
Meteor Shower dps : 729
Basalt dps : 817
now how many +'s could you afford to put on a meteor for the cost of a stage 13 and 3 ews? :P
First my stage 13 cost me nothing and everyone can level one more or less fast but can.
Also you are right about ews price > ewa price, that not change the fact that Basalt clean > Meteor Focus
With mine I do higher damage and if I have to switch to polearm I don't lost HP because both are SA Health.
Darkness Room, IT, FoG for high level (S keymat, EWS,EAS).
There is better spot at low level imo but I can't go there anymore.
(Silenos and ketra are nice also for S keymat)
I definately agree with the +str +dex and -con setup for a dwarf. I use nm la usually when xping and maj heavy when I am not a major DD or when I'm pvping. I REALLY like the light armor, but I dont have stats for ya. I dont XP in FoD so not sure, but comparing just the armors I get better xp with nm la (compared when soloing and duoing with a bishy both) As for a meteorshower it'd be nice for focus IF it was like +10 or somethin, but I use a DHA for WAY more pattack. I also like the two handed weapons anyway 'cause shields suck with la. (-evasion when evasion tanking is bad) And of course I AOE whenever possible instead of single killing mobs, usually in my nm la.
