im sorry, but i've reported loads in the past, of verying names ranging from similar to the above, to names that are similar to hex, both via the support page w/ screenshots and in game with the petitions...
will nothing be done?? (a pointless question really but still, one can only hope)
There's rumors of mass bannings, last month, this month and leading into the CT1 launch.
If you're reporting a full party of cgfgfgfgfr would you notice if they disappeared and were replaced with cgfgfgfr? If for every bot that's banned a new one takes its place, we players won't notice a difference.

But seriously though keep saying it I know it stinks to but maybe just maybe they will at least KINDA stop {YOU KNOW} and not throwing out a legit person just to prove something, like i've heard happen :S on more than one occassion. The idea is for 'them' to at least make it difficult for boaaaating to occur, not have immunity as it seems it does. I'll still keep petitioning and doing whats in my power to get rid of it in hopes a change even SLIGHT is to be made in the future.

hasn't been a mass ban on gustin in ages
every cata room in the whole of aden has a bot train in it so i agree with the OP that i have no friggn idea what their reasonable doubt is
my theory is that NC's banning policy is something along the lines of:
if we find out its a bot and we can do a cartwheel while drinking a glass of water and saying the alphabet backwards we will flip a coin to see if we should ban them
When I mentionned their inability to prove anything in a petition against a bot who has been doing Hot Springs quests for months, GMs sent me a different answer (http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/1773/gmqqff6.gif).
Don't assure me anything... ban them.

I dunno - there's so many threads on other boards and stories in-game of people getting banned. I think they do ban, particularly afk botters. But the profarmers keep a steady stream, so the instant a catacomb room is empty, a new party of cdhdgdg come in.
With CT1 coming fairly soon, you have to expect there'll be increased pressure from the profarmers to meet the increased demand. CT1 has elements that will push the demand even higher than prev chronicles.
E.g., we had a hero on my server braggin in hero chat about ebaying enough adena to purchase 2 Aden clan halls on the server they're transferring to.
Anywho, the bot problem is gonna be the same regardless how aggressive the GMs' banhammers may be. As long as the devs keep letting bots work, and as long as real-money trade makes it profitable, there's gonna be a lot of bot trains in places with good drops.

although for anyone who has ever been to hot springs it reads like the biggest pile of [censored] ever
was unable to find a single free room in 60+ catas on teon within 2 days, flooded with bots but each group has a driver, which saves it from trains and sometimes PK players hanging around
