what was THAT like for the mods/members? lol
Ah yes, that was a fun night. What happened was that the game went down - during primetime USA - for hours. Something like 8+ hours I think. Completely unexpected, of course, it was not planned downtime. So people were coming to the forums complaining and asking wth was going on. There were tons of different threads looking for answers and some basically just saying "screw this game!" etc. After a few hours, it got so bad that the mods froze the forums. They didn't say that was what they did, but all the sudden no one could post. There were no new posts until the game came back up (long after I'd gone to bed.) They never did admit they froze them, but it was pretty obvious they did. :p
