Th vs HE Whos Give More DPS

Human Classes Started Last reply 19 posts
Im looking for a char with high dps for pvp but isnt a glass cannon i was thinking humans with there high con would help im not sure im pretty new so any info will be great thanks
If the TH gets behind the target(key thing), the target is almost certainly dead.

If the TH can not get behind the target(or any other dagger), then they are cannon fodder.

HE is a ranged class, with very good dps. So Range advantage + Ranged Damage = ownage
HA just look at my name :)

it depends on the race, some races as archers will run faster and be hard to catch where as others will be hitting harder and not as fast as the others. either way. . .archer/dagger stay away from tyrants :). and what i've noticed is archers arn't always dominant over daggers. . . . . they have to turn their back to run ;)
Unless a stun shot lands and doesn't break on the very next shot. :p
HE's are the single most resilient rogue in the game, that odd ~500 hp difference between other classes isn't that much compared to how much cp they have sitting in their inventory. Yeah, it can be outspiked, but never in 100 years are you going to plink at them until they run out before you, unless you already have some form of advantage.

I bumped into an unbuffed HE once, and the fight went on for about 15 minutes. I was on my way to my xp spot with clanhall buffs, and they ran out before the fight ended. I eventually died after using all my cp pots, battleroar, revival (yes, you can actually set it off if you don't get crit for 1.5k), life elixirs, cp elixirs, and about 40 ghp's. There's just no way to beat them if you can't out-dps the cp regen, which I certainly can't on a WL ;_; Stuns work great for preventing consumables, assuming they land on maj armor/epics. [/wrist]
Thanks for all the help guys im lvl 28 ill use the dagger in till 40 then go HE it sounds like the hawk eye pwns:)

1 think i did seem to notice is the the TH dosnt get any type of skill to make the oppent turn around like the PW and the AW that dosnt seem very fair
Right. Back when I was playing my Silver Ranger, I could never win in a 1v1 fight against an equal level Hawkeye.

Wow there are archers that still try to kite daggers?

Pretty dumb move.

ya, thats y a TH can easily stop from being stunned, just cancel the skill before they stun you. . .

wrong. . .
Well, hes kinda right, a *TH* dosent, but a adventurer does.

Bluff ftw! (tho god **** Mirage rocks..)

TH is tough as hell frankly, if he gets close, your out for the count and hes got all your tricks and is just as fast or faster then you... plus at later levels land rates on blows isnt even a issue.
Bluff.

AW/PW get Blinding blow though, so they have two skills for that ^^

Not strictly true, if he gets behind you then you're in trouble. Otherwise, not so much unless a lethal shot to 1hp/1cp lands.
Yea but Blinding blow sucks you can turn right around before they can even use a skill on you it only works on the dumb or dumber.
You can't rely on switch bluff or trick to cancel stuns, unless you're hitting people buffed for pve with no mental aegis on, you won't trick much interlude, maybe 1 out of 10 will land if you're lucky. Works farely well on newbies with no aegis, no boss jewels and under 76, passed that, it's not an effective skill. I hear it's it will be a bit better in ct1 though.

DPS wise, a landed non crit stab with dances and cov pretty much equal the damage i do on a crit with my bow on my dagger who has no bow masteries, no range...
It depends...

lol aegis/wisdom/zaken/antharas is resist trick? gl
I would say they're pretty balanced dps wise. But I would go for th for his extremley high crit rate, crit power and attack speed.
..if the target is standing still and/or with his back to you.
