What do BH's grind with?

So you want to go out and mindlessly solo spoil for hours on end. What weapon do you pack? I would think that a blunt is kind of a no-no since you might be tempted to use Hammer Crush which will only drain your mp faster. So...what do you rock for your marathon spoiling sessions?
Haven't had my BH out for a while but I use a +4 AOBA Health SA with him. I'm sure a pole would be better but i don't have a B Grade pole. I have a Halbred with Haste SA on my WarSmith and when i get my BH to A Grade, I'll see how it works with him.
Q. What do BH's grind with?

A. 8 other ppl
ba-boom chish

the blunt is still a good option if you stear clear of stun and have minimal buffs
the more crit buffs you have the lower dps a blunt gets compared to any other weapon
I've been using the shadow B blunt, because I like to be able to stun (+ it's nice when there are mobs that are weak to blunt) and have an SE. On mobs with low evasion I use meteor shower.
hmm what do BH grind with? well i would say alot of them use a SE and a pole :P or solo with a blunt weapon and a bunch of heal pots.
Solo only since that was asked.

It depends how you want to "mindlessly" grind. If you grind with a blunt and shield you can do 1x hp mobs that drop pots fairly endlessly. Some of them have good spoils. The best spoil places are always camped by bots so competetition and devotion is needed. EWB spoil places for example are heavily camped. Not much is needed besides a few heal pots, haste2 pots, ww2 pots. Dual box buffs if you'd like to speed it up and be even more competetive against the bots/farmers.

You can always try to do 1/2 hp mobs with a pole or even a blunt. Usually a dwarf can take a bit of a beating and get those mobs down fairly quickly. I haven't done this enough yet. You can also try doing 1xhp mob poling but I find it a bit tedious.

2x mobs and above with shield/blunt, you need a buffer. Dual box one and have a bunch more fun. Nice way to go is Prophet to buff, then log out and switch to SE following you around for recharges and the odd heal if needed. With VR even after CT1 nerf it won't effect 1 mob at a time hunting.

A real fun way to go right now is getting a pole and heading into the catas or any place you can easily pull 2xhp mobs or above. With a dual box PP/switch to SE I do really well and make nice spoils. I've been keeping myself at the same level recently and found a pretty sweet spot. I'll probably stay there for awhile accumulating some wealth. It's also fun trying to switch between mobs really quick to grab spoils. Poling keeps ya on your toes.

That won't be as viable with VR nerf after CT1 though. Let's face it though. The VR nerf is probably needed to make healers actually feel needed though. As it is I feel I can pull to much at once without a real need for heals. Just a regular healing pot or two. GHP if I get in a real ham.

I always dual box because I can't constantly find a buffer. That's how I roll with my BH solo. I've been hunting with other polers and live support recently too though.

IMO blunt or pole are best weapons for dwarves. If you don't want to be tempted to use stuns remove them from your hotbar. As always just use the best your money can buy for your grade.
Lots of good info. Thanks folks. Great post Saphir.
hmmm not sure if i should add my strategy but i solo with my PP, and use the OE'd tsu*sls from my glad when i grind, and they seem to work fine, even better than my A grade Destroyer Hammer. (but agree with Saphir too - since i hunt single mobs at a time, i dont use stun all that much, if need be i switch weapons and then use it).

I'm 68 and have been hunting in FoTD since I hit 60.
pole, blunt, pp/se 2 box, one of them baby pets, and a thousand reg heal pots. and a bunch of seeds
