So far only a shyeed on franz? i was expecting at least one of each weap / server. why cant you adjust these events for NA where we have far less server population than korea?
The event item drop rate is fairly good. I get 15-25 keys a hour. The reward rate is just horrible. I made 20 stones so far and twice I got buffscrolls and all the others I got pots. If I read peoples rewards on this forum, and reading they got 3-4 hats the reward rate is just horrible. A-grade weapon? Just 1/REALLYIMPOSSIBLE
Think about how messed-up the game would be if you got Ag weaps galore from this event...
Also, just because someone hasn't ran around yelling that they got a weapon doesn't mean realitivly no one has gotten one. There are many people who play the game and don't forum troll or ever read the forums here or on blah period.
Also, the event isn't even half over, wait until the end to pass your judgment. I think compared to NC's other events... (hair dye event for instance) this event is really nice. The normal rewards are easy to get and the hats are cool for those of us who don't have millions of adena to waste on accessories.
I think this event really rocks and I hold no illusion that I ahve a chance at getting an Ag weap. Sure the idea of it is kind of exciting, but you know odds are you will not see an Ag weap pop into your inventory and that's how it SHOULD be.
Well, it's a lottery really, most people are NOT supposed to win :).
So those pots and scroll and even the hats, are small consolation prizes so you don't feel the event was meaningless :).

Usually got 10'ish keys a buff round, sometimes 3, on rare occurences more than 40.
Key drop rate was fine, formula drop rate was the problem. I used 60 keys after a session once and didn't get a single one. I actually go overweight if I extract all the reagents and ore from my warehouse.
I agree with Vhaidren, gabrielK and Tarun: event is nice for those not having money galore, not everybody should win a A-grade weapon and the formula drop-rate is a bit low.
And I find it very nice the event just runs in the WE: in this way, people having holidays don't have more chance than those working :)
And, as far as I'm concerned, this event is way better than the hair-cut change event or even the RB one (as I solo most of the time, I hate having to look for RB's and looking for people in order to kill it).
i got roughly 10-25 keys a buff round on my elemental summoner inside IT pit, but that was spamming blessed c shots/using empower scroll, and haste pots, and the unicorn to melee/mana recharge.
Dont know i dont think its dissapointing.
I see it as some little extra fun beside the boring to much time consuming grind.
I maybe got like 100 keys the whole weekend but i didnt play all time. With them i was abble to do like 12-15 different stones.
I got some potions, buff scrolls and some hats.
I always had the chance to get the big A grade weapon but had no luck ( as usual ). On the other side i got 1 dc and 2 tallum helmet recipes yesterday from spoil.
Yeah. Rewards are fine if you consider them just something free on the side. With regular xp'ing you'll get a bunch of free ghp's, maybe some scrolls, maybe a hat.
A lot of people are complaining about how the hats are temporary, but I'm positive they will become available as regular items later. If they're intended to be rare status items, it would be kinda moot to make them hard to obtain when everyone had 14 of them sitting in their alt's wh "from some event 8 months ago" anyway. You can put up a shop selling red masks and horns for 50k and it still won't sell even though they were *only* obtainable during that event.
Though, if it was up to me (tm), I'd give the hats a certain chance of converting into regular items once they run out of energy, if not a flat chance of getting a regular hat instead of a shadow+skill one in the first place. 1-10% or something.
As for the potions I'd make it so you could "craft" them into regular permanent ones. 10-or-something q/ghp (event)'s to craft 1 normal q/ghp.
I'm not complaining though. Temporary or not, ghp's are practical to have.
I bought a bunch of event ghp's/qhp's for cheap to use on my hatchling. I picked up around 500 ghp's for 500a each and 80 qhp's for 1k each which I just spam liberally instead of messing with managing aggro/mp. Even dug up my old revival+qhp macro which I abandoned cos I'm too stingy.
Among my clan, the universal view was, "the event is crap". No exceptions. Why? First, and worst, the pots do not stack with normal pots. This is BS! Like we need more wasted inventory slots! The scrolls don't stack either. Come on! Next, the hats aren't permanent. Every person in my clan would prefer permanent decorative hats to a hat that lets you BSOE if you wait 20 minutes. Besides, the teddy bear hat looks awesome on my sws.
I can accept that I didn't get an a-grade weapon, didn't expect it. But noone I know got one. Even people that bought tons of keys got nothing. 1/impossible seems about right.
I think the event can be summed up by the market. In giran last night on lionna there were about a dozen shops selling keys, and a single one buying.
I think the event is unique and a LOT of fun. Everything we get is something we didn't have before the event so we are all better off. If you don't like how the FREE heal pots stack, you are under no obligation to carry them around, toss them on the ground for others.
Re the A weapon drop rates: One (or two) of each weapon per server would be plenty. High A weapons are rare items, if we had to craft one it is a major project so I am just fine with a very very low reward rate on them. Sure I would like one but having lots flood the server would not be a good idea.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't know about other servers but I'm pretty sure there were quite a few shops up on Bartz buying keys and a lot of hero shouts wanting to buy them too. It could be to do with how a server is rather than just the event, or what kind of ******ed prices keys are selling for. If I know Lionna it'll be in excess of 80k per key or not too far off that.
The only problem I have with the event is that the hats are not permanent. I would love a perma jester hat lol. I don't really fancy spending ungodly amounts of hours fishing or crazy adena on one of the existing hats so that would have been nice. That and the stuff should just stack with other scrolls and pots, not doing so is a bit silly.
As for the buff scrolls, those aren't such a bad thing. How many people complain they can't go solo because people don't play live buffers and they don't have a 2-box of their own? The buff scrolls may seem insignificant and crap to a lot of us but to others they are virtually a godsend and let them go xp that little bit better.

Good event ,seen two weapons so far in town for sale (seeing that LPs mammon usually is the only one selling new top a grade on lionna anyways) on toons other than normal. Any thing i didnt have to work for is a blessing in this game . Just enjoying my new sub and getting about 20 keys a buff round isnt bad. Healers and buffers have undead skills so soloing isnt imposible just not pefered. Have fun and enjoy this game for what it is (a place to hang with friends and have some fun.) by by:))
This event, imo, is the best one yet. I just wish the hats would last forever. I like my Pooh Bear hat eating my brains :(
I agree. Or at least it's very close. The prizes are a bit "meh", if you don't get a weapon, but I'm enjoying the event. I've only gotten potions and buff scrolls until now, and I doubt I'll get anything worth while, but I'm not selling my keys, because I'm having fun opening chests and crafting/opening stones ^^
the whole (event) thing is just weird, you know it would be possible to just reward normal items, i just don't see the point in making up a new set of items for it.
The blessed res and blessed soe hats are so pointless, you're better off using a normal scroll and then continue fighting for the time it recharges or using /unstuck than waiting for the bsoe recharge.
