I know the bots owners are payng customers and such and the devs are not really interested in stopping them. But they are ruining the game. Without the real players the bot will vanish too and you will be the final loser. And please don't tell me it is impossible to distingush the bots. They follow a certain pattern which is easy to filter. Not to mention launching zillions of clients from the same IP address etc etc...
Just reported a bot which was selling MATS for about 20kk at the price slightly bellow the market price. How many months will need a normal player to collect mats for 20kk? And how a human player can get good price when the bots are dumping the prices?
And it is called the Market - sometimes, just to mess with the other crafters in Giran - I do a craft shop for 1 adena and park 2 rechargers around her. You have no idea now ****** the Dorf Union gets when I do that. Good Times.
I regularly lainch 5 clients from my IP address (4 to play and 1 sell shop). When my son played he could launch another three toons from the same IP. Does that make me or him a bot?
NCNA needs to be far more thorough in it's checks before it bans an account. I'm not saying that I think that they are doing their best in terms of banning our automated friends but if they applied your logic then we'd see empty servers very quickly.
Also, isn't market price the cheapest price that you can get something for over a sustained period? If that's the case then players are selling overpriced items, not vice versa.
And to newly posting OP......what name did you post this thread under last month? and the month before that? and the month before that? and the month before that?
Sorry--I've become a cynic about posts from new accounts concerning the 'horrible bot problem'.....I'm just not feelin' ya, dog.
