Two accounts?

Hello again. :)

I have a quick question for you all this time, and sorry in advance if I'm starting to seem kind've dumb...


I am interested in setting up a second account for myself. The reason, as I'm sure many of you already realize, is to dual box and begin leveling a buffer-type character to support my main, and also to have a safer way to mule items between my characters.

So, I have been on the NCSoft site surfing around, and I'm confused...do I need to buy another copy of the game in order to get another serial key? I would think I could just start paying an extra monthly fee, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Yes you need a 2nd L2 lisence key to make a 2nd account and pay the montlhy fee for both of them.

Well I know I need another serial key, I'm just saying do I really need to buy a whole second copy of the game to get that?

You can buy a serial online in the PlayNC shop.

You need a second serial number which is pretty much the same thing as buying a whole new copy of the game. Only, this time, you don't need to download or patch anything, unless you truly intend on running it on a 2nd computer.

You can't buy an account -- you just pay to use it for awhile til it's reclaimed, stripped, and "sold" to the next idiot.

Hint to OP: When I wanted another CD key, I found it for cheaper than the official lineage2.com/playNC.com site. Google around a bit and save $10...

nice find Galil -- we don't have any EB Games where I live now. They're great for having loads of outdated product for tightwads like me.

I had to double check, but you can indeed purchase a Lineage II game key from our PlayNC store here (https://secure.plaync.com/cgi-bin/Store.pl?dnv=2257696543&action=toggleCategory&mode =open&category=5#group5). :)

It's a bummer that the healing classes aren't more desirable to play as anything other then a second account support.

Were that the case it would be a simple matter of finding some people to play with regularly.

Yup I bought a new box set from an online game retailer for a good price with game code and 45days Time card :cool:

You know, you can send things from 1 charater to another at the warehouse :)

i remeber the days before i found that out, hiding gear behind buildings in heine or some other ghost town, and picking it up with other toons, lol... thoses were the days. ;)
