Just outta curiosity (which i know killed the cat, though i aint no cat...lol) was wondering if any finds that they pick up more dwarven recipes then say common recipes?

or am i confusing common craft recipes to be the same as dwarven recipes?.... just curious since i am level 21 and have not got any common craft recipes yet. ... is it only after level 20 that i start getting more common recipes?

Cheers
Start fishing and you get them.
or join a clan that has a Clan Hall.

however, crafting just about anything from the common crafts is stupid as the mats are expancive and you'll probably be better off selling the mats.
mats as in recipes? i was looking at getting the crafting level above skill 2 and making greater fish oil so i can more fishing tags so i can expand the amount i can carry...

im still bit lost with clan halls and such. just taking it slow till i learn what i need at each stage while researching it ect....
I don't really get the question...
There are only 2 ways to get Common Craft Recipes.

1) Fish, and occasionaly you'll get a recipe
2) Clan Halls sell those recipes. However, each Clan Hall, sells slightly different recipes. I'm not ingame right now, but when I'll log back in I'll check if the Giran CH sells that rec you mentioned.
Common craft recipes are only available from Clan Halls and Fishing at the minute. Any class can use them. I think they'll be available from Castles and Fortresses come CT1.

Dwarven recipes are for dwarves only ;)

I don't really get the question...

I have a bad mind or am forgetful in some instances (this being one of them instances...lol)

I was asking what mats meant or refered to. i was thinking maybe they had something to do with recipies though im thinking not... sorry for the confusion....

I am currently in gludin and been doing some fishing there while picking up some d grade fishing shots ect so was wonderin bout it since i get like 80 fish oil and can only trade it for one ticket then i though making greater fishing oil would be more efficient instead... though could be wrong...lol is just how i thought it might be

Thanks all for the help :)
mats = materials
common recs dont drop
if you plan on fishing for the proofs, to use them for expanding your inventory.
If you can, get a recipe for greater and for premium fish oil
normal fish oil goes for 1
greater fish oil goes for 5 (takes 4 normal fish oil to create)
premium fish oil goes for 25 (takes 4 greater fish oil to create)

so it takes 16 normal fish oil to create 1 premium, that means you get 25 proofs instead of 16, and it only costs you mp to make them
the recipes are easy to get. when i fish i always come back with maybe a hundred recipes, you usually get 16 recipes at a time.
They take a lot of mp to craft though, so you might want to craft them on a mystic class. doing it on a dwarf or orc fighter is goign to take a long time.
