I'm curiouse can Overlords silence a Kamael and turn them into a melee only toon and beat them at PVP?
This is a question that you guys that pvp alot against another of same lvl of PVP experience should have an idea about.

I beat a kamael on test server that meleed me and i won but we were both lvl 7and i had soul cry turned on a wooden set and cheapest dagger from shop and i barely won.
Lvl 7 yea big deal i know but i felt good to actually win a pvp for once since i haven't been out learning that part of game yet.
So whatcha think and how can we prepare for those fights since this is a PVP game in case we get called to protect low lvl clan members from high lvl red Kamaels.
give me 2 months after CT1 hits and I'll give an honest opinion... till then theres gonna be no even pvp Vs a Kamael or Olympaid Va Kameal (yes 2 months to noble for the 'undead' players.

1v1, I wouldn't waste my mp on silence. I would go straight for the sleep / drain. W/out zerk, my m.def is sooo much greater then them they wouldn't have a chance.
If I get lucky and get a sleep to land, I may throw another debuff, not not many, mp can run out if you try too many crappy seals in a dual.
Stun, Sleep, class depenant suspension (for all)/silence/slow/winter/binding. Then either melee with dagger/soulcry, kite with bow, or kite with drain.... again it all depends on what they play like.
:) I'd say 2 months about right since we all know the very 1st kamael to be high lvl might be a 2 boxed one from a higher lvl.
:) It's what i'd do. Play it to 20 for the cats then have it sit in hall while my higher lvl lvl's it.
But i think i read somewhere that penaltys are gonna be given in exp if ya do that or try to.
Reason i was asking cuz i heard some talk people were thinking these new kids on the block Kamael might be better than Destroyers, so wanted the Orc mage Perspective on it since i rolled to Overlord as my new main but still play my 1st which is the Abyss Walker.

So if they are - so what? Let them be "better". Id rather stick to what I like. If I wanted to be "best" I'd go archer or any other type of pure DD instead of OL.
Time will tell if kamael classes will get to win the upper hand when fighting orc mages. My perspective? I do not care.
But if you are worried about getting killed by the one-winged freaks better reconsider the OL patch.
Not sure about OL but WC pound the crap out of a kamael and any class that can stun will pretty much own them. I seen a DA take out 3 of them and the DA still had CP Don't get me wrong the one with the Big 2 handed sword is a class 2 look out for they don't go down easy but they will put you down fast. Glads with TSS will put a hurt on kamael's also. If the Glad Critts bye bye Kamael. any class that has weak M defence should stay away from pvp a kamael.
I don't use stun and just one magic critt would put a end to cp pots

According to online calculators the magic crit chance of a n orc mage with maxed out wit in DC robes (22 wit) is 0.88%, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you use wild magic 2 making it a 3.52% chance to crit. That's a 1/32 chance to crit, 1/120 without WM.
PvP used to be good back in C3/C4 before they screwed up CP pots. Now it's just stupid to even think you can out-nuke someones CP pot spam.

DID you miss the BSOECH in my inventory part? or you just have no idea what BSOECH means?
I know it's a very low chance that's why I said I have BSOECH! "read before you post" some one has that in they SIG
Well it will take to long to get my OL to 75 to sub PS then get that to 75 to sub AW so if the AW is the better 1 of the 2 to fight a Kamael that can port behind ya with a dagger like what a guy on another post suggested, then it's a good thing my 1st toon is a AW. but honestly with Kamael having to absorb souls before they can nuke,lol i highly doubt when i'm high enough to PVP one that any Orc mage should really have any probs.
Thats if NCSOFT can stop making classes worse like i keep hearing they have from reading posts.
Yeah quote on that lol. They have like highest base m-def of all fighter classes I believe (feel free to correct me) + they get magic defence passive boosts every xx-lvls as well.
If I started with full souls I have no issues whatsoever with any equal lvl mage class, bow users is like 50% (stun is no fun :x) tanks are a bother, glads are just OP :< daggers just 2-3 shot everyone anyways :P but if stuff doesn't land then the score could still even out.
Remember it depends on the type of Kamael as well. Zerkers will do a lot better vs dagger classes then sbs/arbs due to disarm (just an example)
Imo just try out some combinations in the arena, and wait for the first oly matches to start. Should be another month as some ppl have pointed out
