I completed my second class change yesterday. I knew the quest because I already did it on PTS for C4.
I created the account for the OB, made a dark wizard. Then it turned out our clan got the DSS recipe. Since the clan artisan was focusing on levelling he didn't want to use it, so I created Moneta and levelled her up to 20 and she started selling DSS in Giran to pay for the clan level up.
After many problems with adenas farmers (they were pking dwarves at mithril mines I had to turn red on my DW to stop them) I didn't sign up at the end of OB. But I came back 1 year later, levelled up some more. Made some alts and levelled them all to 20+. Then left and came back again a few times.
At that point Moneta was level 38. When the PTS went down I decided to stop playing my other alts, level her up to 40 and finish the Warsmith quest.
Now, it seems the bots/farmers are gone. Good! I really enjoyed L2 during the Japanese OB, now I like it again. I hope Kamael will bring back more people but not the farmers lol.
The day "Arty" writes something usefull is the day the Devil walk around on the earth.
Welcome back to the world of L2. And indeed new players are allways welcome.
And in Danish "moneter" = old slang for money. I'm sure it comes from Latin or something. I have a toon name that means something in several languages, so I get asked a lot if I'm from some-random-country when I'm on that toon. WTB name change.
In fact Moneta = Memory.
And in Hyperion Moneta is the female warrior coming from the future with the Shrike, not the archeologist with Merlin illness ;)
That's all I wanted to know, nice name :p
You'll get tired of Russians that believe if your nick means something in Russian they you're Russian (or can use it freely at least). :p We're very sociable... hehe...
Oh yes but she is the same person, it's just mentioned in one sentence it's easy to miss it :)
Spoileeeer ><'
I had some greeks believing I'm greek because of the name of my character on another game.
And today I learned that a possible diminutive of my character's name was a slang term in Russian
