Crt chance(PW)

cost 150,000 SP.

learned at lvl 58.

took my crt rate from 198 to 212. so don't add a whole lot.
So 1.4% more crit chance, hmm... (if you consider 10 points to be 1% as it almost seems to be the case..).
Kind of weak really, I would've expected a dramatic increase in crit chance considering crit power sums up to a couple times more dmg from that passive alone on crit, and crit chance is not matching up to the dmg (calculations might proove me wrong?).

Disappointment town.
Thats lame....
the new critt rate?

that's not even worth using that Book of giants on
I dont think L2Calc does focus correct. when I had a SS with cD and an equal lvl AW had a BO with Focus, se had more standing crit rate that me unbuffed, but as we were buffed my crit rate actually passed hers...l2 calc doesnt reflect this so I will have to check again to make sure I wasnt smoking crack. If so, the buffs might be made better by the new passive as well...

Sorry.. but that's exactly how much it was supposed to add.. what the hell did you expect?!

Assuming we're talking about the last level of focus chance they get in CT1?
Well, as it was we only had only 1 percent (at high levels, aproximatley) in extra chance to crit compared to TH, now we'll have 2 percent, wowzers....
I, for one, was just noticing how insignificant it is, that's all :).

as the boy on blah say. PvE crap.

it make no difference in PvP. might matter at 79+ with o/e to crt dmg as a effectiveness. (yes thats a option for crt chance)

I was expecting it to add about 30-40 more crt rate, basically eliminating focus SA from pve, But it didn't.

Looks for Olym you'll still need to grab focus buff if you want to have your skills land. given that as long as focus buffs/passives effect dagger land rate, because they are crt skills. who knows w/e don't matter much.

BTW the new passives added to light armor makes me want to reroll :(.
Indeed, PvE, but that's what crit chance is meant for anyway.
It's just that from a PvE point of view it could've been great as you said, even make you give up on the SA for something better and still have big crit rate AND some crit power or attack speed for example.
While PvE is so disregarded by many, the fact remains that L2 consists of a HUGE part of PvE and a less time consuming PvP component (the only fun thing for many/most?). (pales in comparison to the time spent grinding)

However considering some of the people that frequent Blah and how many of them are actually bragging about how well they afk-lvl (even using siggies to "advertise" this), ofcourse the PvE component is insignificant and they show no interest in PvE skills/improvements, as they don't actually PvE. ;)

Normally anyone wants an improved PvE so they get bigger faster and play/fight with the big players.

I wonder how much increased damage the extra level of crit power, that the AW gets, gives. Anyone knows?
Also a comparative chart between power passives and crit chance passives would be great, anyone knows of such a thing?
(like we get 200 crit rate on our own... and same level power passive gives x3.5 more dmg not just x2?).

what new passives?
I believe light armor masteries for daggers give reduced crit damage taken now.
that can be good and bad
that a new skill for Silver Ranger?
It is a passive boost for PW's at 58, do not think silver rangers get this.

its chance to land stabs.

its horrible now, I miss BS so much it makes me lose PvP more then win it. Not only that But Mental shield seems to make switch fail target loss alot more often.

These changes makes me want to reroll something else! :(
Where did you read that?? I can only find the reduced crit damage taken in patch notes, nothing about stab land rates.

Meaning? I see no changes in CT that would make you want to reroll, just no particular changes for the good.
As for the light armor masteries, if they will reduce crit rate on us, all good, if they increase land rate... a lot better.

So what gives? You tried a PW on PTS and you saw what changes? When you attack a light armor character you miss landing a stab much more often? That sounds bad, but we're left with killing... robe users and a lucky stab on a heavy user? :(

Thanks.

its been said again and again from many ppl that critical rate does not affect stab land rate for many chronicles now. if u can prove them wrong, do it. otherwise reroll

good job posting and not having anything worth saying.

I wasn't even talking about crt rate. I'm talking about the change made to Light amor that lowers our chance to land stabs.

And if you can't read patch notes, then thats not my fault. I shouldn't have to quote and link everything just to please you, go read them your **** self. :p
The only thing in the patch notes about light armor is that certain classes light armor masteries now lower the crit damage taken, no where does it say that daggers have a lower chance to land stabs.
reroll

now
Jeeeeeeeeeeez... s

# A Critical Damage-decreasing effect has been added to the Light Armor Mastery skill that can be learned by Rogues, Elven Scouts, Assassins, and Orc Monks.
# A Critical Damage-decreasing effect has been added to the Heavy Armor Mastery skill that can be learned by Knights, Elven Knights, Scouts, and Palus Knights.

From other translations out there it says that light armor masteries reduce critical chance and heavy armor reduce critical damage.

It doesn't say anything about stabs landing less. It has NEVER been mentioned before I read this post. What an imagination people have, stop assuming [censored].
